The memes arose so naturally because, for a huge chunk of people, trans/sexuality jargon had become so predictable that people could anticipate all their moves without even trying that hard. The patterns were so ingrained that r/superstraight predicted its own demise and laughed about it. Without the label, without the subreddits, that spontaneous language war can still emerge at any time, from any angle. It's never good when your enemy knows you that well. I think there will be similar memes that put TRAs on the defensive, and the superstraights know exactly how they'll retreat, which lets them think much further ahead than your typical ragetroon.
