Ya know I memba watching a documentary like 20 years ago that had a snippet of an interview with omnifaggot Richard Simmons....
- for reverence for any zoomers out there who dont know who dat is-
He said how he knew a fat guy who dried desperately hard to lose weight any way he could, but just couldnt shift the pounds. Eventually Simmons enquired about his weight and found out he had heard somewhere that oranges were great for your health and good weight loss food so he was eating oranges every day....
About 30+ oranges every day...
Simmons emphatically stated that no matter how healthy and nutritious and wholesome a food is....if you are having dozens of servings a day it will make you gain a fucktunne of weight.
Thus showing that even if he was more flaming than the entirety of both Sodom and Gommorah, he was a smarter man than people who take Supersize Me seriously given how the entire fucking schtick of that movie was literally "if I eat unhealthy amounts of food I will put on an unhealthy amount of weight...and this is obviously the fault of the food".
Fat Head absolutely crushed this pile of horseshit. It also turned out that Spurlock was an alcoholic, which explains all of the weird effects that fast food was supposedly having on his liver. Getting to be a fat fucker isn't healthy but usually it doesn't instantly destroy your liver like that.
Though that British show called The Supersizers was kind of neat.
It revealed the corrupt practices of Big agra (in regards to chicken farming) spent about 15-20 minutes on that
revealed 15-20 minutes of smarmy fast food marketing
and about an hour of junk food filler

Just because you eat food in excessive amounts for a long time such that it makes you fat, doesn't make that food necessarily bad, it just shows you have shitty eating habits. He should have just cut all the muh fat food bullshit from the first one and made it entirely about the industry being scummy, it would have been a lot more interesting.

My favorite after the fact detail about Super Size Me was how Spurlock’s vegan wife (now divorced) went on to give up veganism because meat was just too damn delicious
Every time I watch Super Size Me, I get a massive craving for McDonald's. I don't know why, Spurlock does everything in his power to make it look as gross as possible but there's so much of him eating it that it ends up looking delicious again.
