Its easy to see why imagine being pestered by hundreds of people every time you post something video game related and people just assume it's some obscure hint of a character they want and make a 12 minute video over that shit or worse make some idiotic rant how this character shouldn't be in this game because fuck you I hate him.
 
I'm glad fans of Persona got their pick but I'm tired of hearing about Joker and Persona. To me he's just there.
(Who am I to judge I think Sans in Smash would be funny just for the autistic screeching that would occur.)

Am I the only person who really dislikes the competitive community for Smash? What a bunch of pretentious little snots. I hope Sakurai or whatever his name is puts tripping back in the game just to fuck with them. I used to like Smash but the competitive whiners forced everything to be streamlined into a super boring mess. Love the new final smashes guys. No variety for me thanks. ?

You can't blame the Final Smashes being redone on competitive players when they don't use items. It was done for the sake of casual players, anyways. I don't know a single one of my friends who enjoyed playing as or against, say, Landmaster for a solid 20 seconds or the entirety of the DK Bongos final smash. They'd rather push B and watch the pretty colors without having to learn an obscure moveset.

Anyone that comes into this thread to whine about tourneyspergs "ruining" Smash Bros. (e.g. @DDBCAE CBAADCBE and @Raging Capybara) is as autistic as the tourneyspergs themselves

I swear these people do not know the meaning of the word “fun”. They don’t want to play a game that’s objectively better and more balanced than Melee, they just want to keep playing the same damn game over and over again until they die and, despite claiming to be highly skilled, are too lazy and inept to adapt to Ultimate’s mechanics. God, Melee fanboys are the absolute worst.
 
Sakurai has recently wrote a book on Smash Bros, detailing his viewpoints on characters like Goku, Smash Bros being seen as a competitive title, and fandom reactions over certain characters, among other things.
Just something to think about whenever a smash sperg gets autistic over their favorite character / waifu not being playable or tourneyspergs deciding to ban anything fun for "balancing issues".

(And also if certain kiwis come into this thread to a-log Ultimate for allegedly pandering to said tourneyspergs.)

I love Ridley's inclusion and wanted him since Melee. Only difference is that I would have liked Ridley. This person seems like they're obsessed with Ridley and reflects on his lack of inclusion in earlier titles the same way a normal person talks about being subjected to child abuse.

Nobody was "toxic" about Ridley's inclusion, unless you browse /v/ in which case it's just a contest to see who can mock the fans of character X the hardest. If people were being obnoxious towards you for wanting Ridley in Smash, odds are it's because you were being obnoxious about wanting Ridley in Smash, because whenever I brought it up, people just responded with something along the lines of "yeah, that would be cool" or calmly disagree without further conflict.

It's basically the reason why Waluigi and Ashley fags were mocked to hell and back, while Lyn and Krystal fans were (mostly) left alone.

At least hopefully that can smash down the stupid hopes of Goku making it onto Smash. The only possible way for that to happen will be him appearing frequently on Switch titles which is unlikely.
