It is. 仙 literally means as an kanji "hermit" (as seen below in 仙人, sen-nin) or "wizard" (the kind who barely lives outside his cave).

I hope there is an option to enable kanji vocabulary like in the Pikmin games because it's easier for me to identify 大好物 on the instant than だいこうぶつ for instance.

I read somewhere that it varied by character in the original, with Bowser using hardly any and Geno using them exclusively. I don't speak Japanese so I can't confirm or deny that, though.

TTYD remake already has changes to the music. The OST for Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is probably the only aspect of the game that did not need a tweak, upgrade or change.

So I'm expecting nothing.

Come to think of it, it sounds like a Master Roshi situation from Dragon Ball. For those who don't know, Roshi was not his name, it means "Wise Master".
 
Remember when Bowser's victory pose sprite had to be changed because it looked like he gave the equivalent of a european middle finger?
Man some truly fucking cucked times to come if Mario giving a "peace" symbol is apparently too much for localizetroons

well you see some marginalized groups don't get to experience peace all the time like privileged folk and we need to show empathy by changing the 27 year old mario game

I believe the term is "flicking the V's", but that's only when it's done backwards. They probably changed it for the usual reason Nintendo changes something: to make it blander.

Is there discourse about TTYD's remake OST? The only thing I noticed was that the battle theme goes much harder, which is pretty cool.
 
On mario rpg 1996 version I remember after you beat the last boss in the last dungeon there’s a longish end cut scene and then the games over and you can’t play anymore. If you reload the game after resetting it you will be at the save block right before the final boss. So you would have to manually walk out of the last dungeon back the way you came instead of killing the final boss if you wanted to just free roam after beating the game but I’m glad the remake lets you play the game still after beating it. I’m hoping there’s some extra addition things after you beat the game, I heard you can refight some bosses etc or something so hopefully stuff like that. I wish they added extra followers that could join your party. I wish they could let you switch out mario, I understood why the 1996 version didn’t let you and didn’t want you swapping out mario but the remake should let you. Swapping party member out during combat is cool tho I wished I could swap during battle during 1996 version. I also remember wishing Marios clothes colors would change when you got new armor because he always has the red and blue overalls he never changes clothes with new armor but, mario odyssey let you change clothes there was a dress and a hat with a blonde wig attached to it on mario odyssey I wish they could add that to the mario rpg remake! I wish the party members followed you. I wish you could run around on the screen as bowser or peach or mallow or geno instead of always running on the screen as mario. Make it co op two people walking around on the screen player 1 is mario player 2 is mallow or someone. Make it online playable so you can adventure with other Mario’s or duel someone’s party with your own

To me, the "post-game" doesn't matter as much if there's nothing to do or see, especially if there are no sidequests (the only sidequest I know of is the hidden coin challenge, and there's at least one that you can only do at few points (one in the castle I believe). Like with EarthBound (one of the few games that did it), there's no bosses or enemies to fight (I think there's at least but it's a bug and will crash the game if you somehow lose) so all you can do is visit everyone and see if anything's changed....but it's really not that great.

As a kid, Super Mario RPG's ending was one of the best in video games I've seen.

Remakes are the games I most want DLC for. We know damn well whatever they'd add isn't cut content, and if it sucks then oh well, it's optional, so it's the ideal situation.

About the music though, the new SMRPG music seems so mixed that I might just play with the old soundtrack instead, but I think the new TTYD music sounds great, even considering how good the original was.

Will he make it into the final Game?

Ok he's ackchually made it into the trailer (If they dont cancel him last minute) and Valentina still got her detailed character design.

Top tier game if they dont make the bosses easy peasy like they did in the Superstar Saga Remake, or at least add a hard mode.
