I was wondering if it would be possible when you quote someone in chat if it could automatically tag them in the post so they could get a notification?

I think we should have that tape guy getting banned thread back and also I miss when mods would leave a brief note at the end of locked threads to say why it's locked. Even if it's as simple and obvious as "This thread is autistic."

People learn by example, and knowing why others were banned or threads were locked would help them avoid making the same mistakes. I've seen other forums that announce every banned user in a dedicated thread, and there's no real downside to it except an extra twenty seconds or so to post "X was banned for Y". Also ever since that tape guy thread got locked every time a kiwi gets banned at least 30 people ask why in the hugbox.

I realise there's a "why did X get banned" thread in Supporters, but that's not gonna stop 30 non-supporter fegs asking "why did X get banned" in hugbox. I'm asking for tape guy thread to be re-opened basically.

Also rename it back to "Why did the Tape Guy get banned" since it got renamed to "Why did "insert random sperg here" get banned"
 
I don't know if this has been suggested, so here it goes;

Many of the sub forums dedicated to individuals (Chris, Mr. Enter etc) have a thread that basically is titled "Read this if you're planning to troll X". I was thinking that maybe there should be one such thread in the front page of the forum, just as a suggestion for would-be clyde chases or bluespikes to not troll lolcows. Lolcows produce the best milk when left alone to sperg.
 
Would it possible to have a batch mode, like checkboxes, for unwatching threads? having to go unwatch them one by one is kind of a hassle.

As much as I love the idea of a dunce cap, I dunno if that's a good idea. :catparty: would probably demand a banner for most positives.

I'm sure whoever has that honor also has a Verified banner. We don't want them to get greedy and make us plebs feel jealous.
