I just read a long ass journo-nigger sounding post which was written by AI. It was not niggerlicious, just straight up nigger cattle. can we get a clanker reaction sticker for labeling these soulless antichrist loving posts?

I'd love an option to sort a thread by reaction score. It's a slog to find the popular moments of a thread and having some option to sort by the most reacted to posts would probably help alleviate that a bit.

Apologies if this already exists and I'm just retarded.

There are already automatic highlighted posts based on score, but I agree it would be nice to somehow collapse the thread to just show those in some kind of "highlights only" mode.

It only costs $20/month.

i know ive asked before, but i wanted to ask if there is any way at some point we could get a sad react? i have seen some pretty sad posts where people have had something terrible happen to them, and i usually just heart react...but then i wondered if maybe they thought i was glad that something bad happened. 💙

quick-fire ideas:
1. Make it so negative reactions on A&N don't count torwards your "Positive" or "Negative" reaction score thingy. People on that board act like redditors with their "Dumb" awards, handing them out like candy.
2. Try adding a "based retard" reaction, whatever that may be.
3. Consider doing gamenights on KF, put a large banner on the site when you do them like you do with cytubes. I really like the gamenights on rDrama, they're really fun. As for what games? Maybe SS13, Minecraft, Gartic Phone or something. I know we already have KF gameservers but they're dead most of the time.
4. Get someone to create a kiwi-tan theme based on Spectate's design,
5. Ban everyone I don't like

Can we get more thumbnail sizes to choose from when inserting images? The default size is about 300x170 for 16:9 and 300x220 for 4:3.
Sometimes I wish I could make them 200px wide without manually resizing them.

Maybe it's been asked before, but could you make an option to search what was a featured post during a certain timeframe?

Example.
Me- I wonder what weird shit was happening on April 26th 2022? I plug that date in search bar, select showed featured posts and see what was going on.

If it's important enough to be featured. It should be easy to find.

I know you have a lot on your plate right now, mister BROKE DICK John Potter Moon, but I have an idea to improve the way the highlight system works:
Separate highlight categories based on what type of reacts a post predominantly gets. That is to say, let users specifically look for only highlights that are rated highly :informative:, or highly , and let users filter out or specifically find posts that were considered autistic, or MATI, or dumb.

I also have some suggestions for what types of reacts should be added:

-Media Archivist
Users can give this react to posts that archive important pieces of media. For example, right now I'm looking for the clip of Ethan Ralph blowing smoke into Cozy Rozy's face, and having to dig through all the other types of highlights. Future posts containing important lolcow media would be easier to find if you could browse by media archivist highlights.

-Shitposter
For posts that are admittedly funny, but off topic. Good for keeping important information separate from thread-banter. The example that inspired this idea was me trying to read the American Politics thread, and getting a bunch of highlights of shitposters jokingly arguing about what an American should or should not know about Germany.

Highlights are probably the primary way that people read threads, and a lot of informative and essential posts end up not getting highlighted in favor of inter-thread drama, spergposting, and jokes. I think these posts should continue to be highlighted. I think the number of highlights in a thread should be increased dramatically, but users can choose whether they want just the essentials or the full spergatory.

It'd be neat to have a function to keep notes on people. Like "Wow, I like this guy's quality posts, keep an eye on him" or "Wow, I hate this retard, disregard his opinion". Bonus points if I can change the color of their username or put an icon of some sort next to their name/post. Only for me to see of course. Or maybe me and the admins. Maybe it doesn't even need to be notes, just a series of icons or name color changes you can quickly set.

Edit
Maybe it's just a colored border that goes around their profile pic.

how about a chat for self-sufficiency? it would be slower than the others but in a way users will appreciate. everyone that regularly posts in the subforum has the sense to keep their remarkably informative posts to their respective threads. it may work well for shit like minor gunsperging that would take up two to three pages but on the other hand anything posted is very useful to know and could probably be better to read through a thread. i swear to god the subforum is as if you twisted a wet rag of old /k/ and nothing but the sweetest of drippings come out.
edit: call it Shrek's Swamp

Última edición:
Had a thought today while listening to last week's MATI and struggling to remember a few names of random cows - With the new AI features being built into the site, would something like an AI summary of cows be a welcome edition to anyone else? Like, I could type (((Hasan Piker))) and Hasan's name would highlight so that someone could click on it and get a brief 2-3 sentence description of who he is, what circles he's involved in, and maybe a link to his thread?

I don't even know if this would be possible or feasible, but it would also really help with introducing unknown cows to people or increasing user screen time.

I think it would be nice to see the filename as part of video UI (sans extension, with character limit and black stroke so it doesn't disappear when the video's bright in that corner). Something like pic below.

I know you're still working on the Search overhaul, here's some early feedback/requests.

Today I tried searching for the "U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others", as I do whenever I want to reference it. I used to just search "2020 riots" and it would be the first suggestion, sometimes needing Search Titles Only selected. Today, the semantic search completely hid it in the suggestions.

That list is very different from the actual results once I click Search and go to the real results page. Probably because the new semantic search is only applied to suggestions.

Ok, maybe I need to update my search habits, but it still doesn't appear in suggestions by adding "George" or "Floyd". You have to specifically add both words to get a suggestion list similar to the real results page.

If I click Search for either of those single-name searches, the correct thread is the only one in the full results.

It's weird to get more accurate results from the non-semantic search. Maybe the differing return sets are intentional, but that's non-intuitive, and the new search itself is less intuitive. I haven't done full-spectrum (in both senses) testing yet, just wanted to raise awareness so the full search doesn't start using the suggestions algorithm before it's ready.

Again, I know you're still working on it; please whip Claude a few more lashes until he sobers up.
