If he checked into rehab today or tomorrow and notified the court and said that he was in dire straits but he made it into rehab, this can be fixed. I’ve gotten two warrants handled this way (both happened within a short period of time). Basically the judge just continued the case until after rehab.

Depends on your state. Some states don't allow it at all. Some states have strict licensing requirements. Some states don't require dick and you can pretty much declare yourself a bounty hunter (hi Mississippi).

The famous Dog the Bounty Hunter couldn't be licensed in many states because he is literally a convicted murderer.
