Stupid Things Your Facebook Friends Post

My friend that believes in mermaids and does the Bambi, wolf, fox, edits collects things to represent her theriotypes and totem animals:

Really FB is only a vehicle for the most annoying crap I've ever seen.

This is only true if you add everyone who asks or you have shitty friends. My facebook feed is full of invitations to cheap indie comedy shows, people organizing various meet-ups, and discussions of the latest episodes of TV shows.

I get maybe one stupid article for every 50 updates, and it's all from this one person who is an SJW and who I have no clue how I know them. The only reason I haven't deleted them yet is because I want to find out who they are first.

Granted, it's not like I make an effort to read everything on my feed.

Most of my more entertaining FB posts (that aren't copy-pasta'd via groups like FSTDT) come from my personal lolcow, who mainly spergs about all things cosplaying, anime, Pikachu, and new McDonalds menu items/Happy Meal toys at the restaurant that she works at. She's in her 20s, by the way.

I've talked a lot about this in the Personal Lolcows thread, but my cousin is pro-Trump to the point of batshit insanity. He once made a post threatening to kill himself if Trump lost, and does little more than fanboy over Trump anymore.

Another one I've talked about in Personal Lolcows is this guy named Daniel. He's a loveshy who becomes suicidally depressed practically every month and posts on Facebook about how nobody would care if he were dead, blah blah blah. Everyone just ignores it cause he does it all the goddamn time.

One of my FB friends would just post inspiration quotes, almost exclusively and every day. We're still friends but I unfollwed their posts. I fucking hate inspirational quotes.

Some of my friends are borderline-SJWs but it's not total. Lots of stuff about LGBTQ issues, some of which are interesting, some of which are annoying.

Also one friends posts dubious health and wellness articles like how GMOs are the worst thing ever and how doing an armpit cleanse can cure breast cancer (or something).

My social life is split between as Asperger/special needs group and a big local sci-fi/fantasy "nerd" group, (with overlap between the two) so my FB is the usual lonely young men into conspiracies "I took magic mushrooms today and saw Obama on TV in his alien form", ditzy aspie women posting twee quotes and crying about anoreixa and breakups, and creepy interactions between the two, sweaty fat men in XXL hentai-girl shirts leaving constant messages on the ditzy women's photos "you look great...no really you look great..I really mean it you look great..come round tonight and share a beer with me? Sorry if that was creepy please be my friend still. I still have the beer ready if you ever change your mind".
