I'm interested in starting a podcast using Streamlabs OBS, and I'm having trouble having the display capture source detecting my 2nd laptop (connected by an HDMI cable). There should be a simple solution, but I'm the type of autistic that's not that great with computers and tech.

It has just an HDMI port.
Aah, the age old gay problem. It's an output not an input.

It won't recieve a signal from that port, they're all outputs unlike USB, you would need a capture device or streaming box to hook up more than one machine to the same thing and get video.

Thanks a lot, man! I actually was able to find one for under $20 which is good.
