the finale was so boring and uneventful

Poojeeta sacrifies herself by scamming everyone so she is the only causality while the main villain is easily defeated by some teens and a middle aged woman

but trannies are in very few shows.
Before they made it front and center like the troon in baby reindeer and then they cast him as a detective in You season 5 without telling anyone and making him seem like a women but I instantly knew because of his male shaped face they weren't fooling anyone

I predict they will do that more casting stealth trannies in minor roles

The more you think about the plot of Season5 the less sense it makes. If the upside down is a wormhole, why does it mirror Hawkins? How did Hopper and Nancy become like Navy Seals? Why did they leave the notebooks about the wormhole in the upside down? Why did they leave their plan on the projector?

It's all like Episode 9 of Star Wars. It's just quest ping pong to make it seem like there is progress. The story is a house of cards, and if you pull on any thread it all comes crashing down.

Something else that I find funny is that despite people talking about how the Duffers walked back Vecna/Henry being the Big Bad and made him just a tool for the Mind Flayer/Dimension X, they really didn't. At best they are co-primary-antagonists with the "good guys" winning and the Mind Flayer dying as soon as Vecna dies.

So essentially the retardation from Season 4 still remained.

I don't understand why showrunners are gutting their shows right at the finish line. Lost, GOT, Yellowstone, this thing. Is it on purpose? Is it some Hollyweird "We don't get to make more money out of this, fuck you for caring!" kind of shit? It really feels like a sperg not even taking the ball home so you can't play it, but stabbing it out of sheer spite.
One of the hardest parts of writing a story is coming up with a satisfying ending. If you plan it out from the beginning like How I Met Your Mother, you can end up with something completely out of touch with what happened in the years between you coming up with it and the finale and if you don't plan it out, you can end up with Lost where you kept hinting at something without having an actual answer in mind and when it comes time to reveal everything, you have nothing.

Good writers overcome these challenges. Lazy hacks don't.

actually, they did walk it back.
There's a reason the very last reveal is that Henry was mindfucked by the Dimension X/Mindflayer Stone, the reason he rejects redemption is simple, he has nothing to reject it for, his entire life from that point on was miserable for him, and he did stunningly evil things while "Mind Flayed", this is the reason they cut to the burning fucking crib, "Henry" more or less no longer exists and hasn't for a long time, and the revelation brought back some ofhis childhood innocence, which was immediately confronted by decades of being about as evil as person could ever be.

This is why he simply weeps tears of despair and guilt instead of any anger while in his mindspace while talking to Will, and responds in a way different tone than before, for Henry, all that is left is giving in to the Flayer and committing to the horror, and this is VERY likely the reason he and the Mindflayer lost the big fight, he simply wasn't "in it" anymore, sure he fought it out and was willing to do as the Flayer wanted, but he was now completely mind fucked, this to me is the only good aspect of the Finale.. he really was Mind Flayed the whole time, and there was absolutely no good part of his life to turn to, to reject that Eldritch entity, unlike Will or anyone else.

Things the Duffers alluded to being explained which weren’t, and mistakes and plot holes.

Why did Vecna take Will specifically?
Why were Will’s and Henry’s birthdays the same date?
Why did he choose the 6th of November? They made a big deal of that, pointing out that was his badge number on his scout uniform.
Why was the painting he did for Mike and lied about in season 4 never brought up again, yet talked about so much in promos for season 5, like a big queer-baiting Chekhov’s Gun?
Why was the Upside Down frozen in time?
Why did everyone forget Will’s birthday?
Why did Joyce forget the age Will went missing at?
Why did the lights flicker in season one when Mike and Will were outside the house saying goodbye?
Why was the dial in the radio station grey then red, the same as the centre of the Holly’s roundabout changed? Just another error in this shitshow?

If the upside down is a wormhole, why does it mirror Hawkins?
Well, technically this one is answered. The ground is mirroring Hawkins while the sky is mirroring the Abyss. Both ends of the wormhole are mirroring the point at which they are located. I use mirroring loosely here, because it's not actually mirrored, it's just a bizarre copy.
How did Max graduate at the same time as everyone else when she's at least a year behind from the coma?
How did they leave the abyss with all of the kids if the tower is as misaligned to the whole as it was? Was Eleven just chucking kids at the tower?

Why did Vecna need those kids?
What happened to the pregnant women that were being experimented on?
What happened to Murray and Robin’s girlfriend?
Did they just leave the fat kid Derek’s family tied up in the barn?
Why didn’t Hopper and Joyce remember they went to school and even put on a play with Henry (this is part of the plot of the stage play). Joyce calls Vecna Henry in the finale, so she knows he is Henry Creel, the boy she went to school with.

So does Steve live? Or?
Steve becomes the middle school (I assume) baseball coach which we see, and we also learn that he teaches sex ed classes so that robin can make a joke about him having STDs. He's saving up for a house and off-screen has met some girl who he thinks is the one.
Why was the Upside Down frozen in time?
Because it was frozen in the moment it came to exist as it was only a bridge. I learned on Reddit that most of this shit is answered in the stupid looking play, where it's explained that Brenner's dad was a part of the Philadelphia Experiment and that he'd gone to Dimension X triggering Brenner's obsession. And everything from Henry getting infected with the Mind Flayer particles, to all the kids with superpowers is a result of Brenner wanting to go there.

I don't understand why they cut away after Hopper shoots Eleven. That entire scene should have been shown in its totality until she wakes up without any cuts. Cutting to her walking around in the woods before back to Hopper completely ruined any suspense they may have had. I assumed it was a fake out from the start, but cutting to her being fine in the woods with Max and the Indian girl just ruined it immediately. It's a small thing but it stood out to me.
