So wait, watching the last episode are they basically implying that gayness is spread through inappropriate contact? Will iwas targeted by vena because "he was gay" (aka he was groomed or molested as a kid). Is that the message of stranger things?

All I’m saying is that it’s satisfying to have everyone turn against a series you never thought was particularly good in the first place.
I don’t have a horse in this race, but I won.
I felt completely vindicated back when I was a hater of Game of Thrones from episode one. You don't start a tv show about a book franchise that isn't finished, or even has a 'soft finish' where things could be wrapped up. Once I heard he'd released another book that asked even more questions I knew it was permafucked.

I straight up cannot imagine being a writer, having your biggest hit ever and just spinning your wheels instead of hunkering down with a pen and paper at every chance. This goes for the Duffers, this goes for GRRM, this goes for the chucklefucks who directed GOT, this goes for every faggot who came up with a cool TV show concept and dipped after season one.

Finished the show. Didn't like it, but otherwise no strong feelings either way outside of annoyance that I wasted time following after season 1.

I’ve never felt so emotionally detached watching a finale in my life. Two hours of utter Marvel slop. I will curse god every day until I die for the existence of the MCU and it’s affects on Hollywood.

I don't understand why showrunners are gutting their shows right at the finish line. Lost, GOT, Yellowstone, this thing. Is it on purpose? Is it some Hollyweird "We don't get to make more money out of this, fuck you for caring!" kind of shit? It really feels like a sperg not even taking the ball home so you can't play it, but stabbing it out of sheer spite.

Game of Throne had long been in the dying before Season 8 lmfao. Hell, the damage can be seen as early as Season 1 where key characters weren't apart of the show. It was just maintained somewhat well until season 4.

I wasn’t expecting much out of the finale but how did the Mindflayer go from an eldritch god capable of mind control, creating minions, summoning/controlling all the upside down creatures etc to a Big Scary Spider that just roars and walks slowly. It’s pushed every waking second that it’s a hive mind with an army of minions and then at its peak that it’s been planning for over a decade it doesn’t have an army?

The worst part of this finale is how fucking boring it is. I’m an hour in and I might genuinely turn it off. It’s all retarded bullshit. And now I’ve just reached the part where gay saves the day.

Perfect example of what happens when people get way too far up their own assholes.

I don't really have a whole lot of insightful things to say after binging episodes 5-8 today, other than it was fine. I'm sure if anyone wanted to do break the series down in autistic detail you could find things to complain about, but it would probably be wasted effort (anyone expecting the show to change radically this far in is a retard). In terms of seasons of tv that make me MATI, this wasn't one of them.
