I genuinely spent 20 out of 60 minutes just fastforwarding through shit because all of the interpersonal drama shit was so gay and boring I couldn’t stand it. An ~UnPrOpOsAl~ ok just get fucked you retard
I wished I had skipped over that part. I thought, is the show actually going to have the balls to kill off those two characters? They should have written them out as they've been irrelevant since season 1. But no, they live. No heterosexual white couples can be happy on Netflix. Mike and El's all-but-forgotten romance will end in tragedy somehow. He has a better chance of ending up with Will than her.

According to wokism, ginger and the black will live and end up together. The dykes will survive. If Will dies, it will be a Christ-like sacrifice that saves the whole world.

I hope I'm wrong.

I still have no real clue why or how Lucas and Max ended up together. Like I know him and Dustin had crushes on her and then some stuff happened and then she kisses him at the dance? Feels like I missed several episodes worth of them building up to something being there.

Have you seen the theory going around that the season might have been Josstice League'd by the studio, causing the season to be cut down significantly from its original cut.

Here's some documents explaining what had been cut from the show that I found on Twitter. Thoughts?

And yet another overhyped, ultimately disposable TV franchise comes to 44-car highway pile-up of an ending, complete with "Somehow, Palpatine returned" levels of explanations.

Genuinely not even interested in hate watching the final season, I just about pushed through Season 4 despite it being a cringe filled, poorly written shitfest. The high school jocks were so over the top bad guys that it felt like they were from a different universe altogether. "Lets go kill the satanic kids" is just so fucking weird, and the town being all for it was even stupider.

It's so obvious they had no fucking clue how to deal with the franchise after Season 1, so Season 2 was basically more of the same (also finishing in a way that could be considered an ending for the series) and Season 3 was just plain dogshit. Like come on guys, I can stomach certain things, but Russians building a timehole to the upside down might make sense in say, Russia... but in a fucking town in the US??? During the fucking COLD WAR?????

You know what, I'll come up with a better plot theory for Season 3 just off the top of my head featuring vaguely similar themes: Russians accidentally create a portal to the upside down over in Russia, the gang are asked by the US to help out there as they have first hand experience with dealing with this weird shit. They sort everything out and you still get an 80s show, but in a radically different setting. But I guess if they did that then you couldn't get Millie Bobby Brown dancing to Madonna... even though it'd be incredibly funny to get a bunch of oblivious Americans asking Russian shopkeepers if they have the latest pop album while some Stasi (forget what the Russian version of that is) officer is glaring at them to fuck off.

From what I hear, they've managed to do that thing that TV series do all the time where a world shatttering thing happens in the season finale and then it's not immediately addressed in the next season until midway through because fuck you all for watching this shit. A wormhole has opened up in this little fucking town and the US military haven't told everyone to fuck off, just built a fucking iron dome over it? Breaking Bad has completely ruined me because they'd pick things up in Episode 1 of a new season and escalate things further than you'd expect, and now I expect that in every show I watch.

Like THIS IS AN END OF THE FUCKING WORLD SCENARIO. I get kids are retarded but you fuckers are the only ones who can save the town and you're fucking around??? God, I want everyone involved in the show post Season 1 to be tied to a post and burnt alive.

Doesn't seem like they cut anything that would've substantially changed things unless it's revealed that Vecna sexually assaulted Will or something. And I'm gonna guess that Will confessing to Mike about wanting to stick his scooper up the latter's pooper is the cut content that they are referencing with these two.

I deadass saw someone on Plebbit yesterday stating that "It would not be good to show a kid who is gay as having been sexually assaulted."

Why did Vecna need to use Will as his ‘spy’ to find Max’s unconscious body in the real world of Hawkins to send his demo-dogs to kill her?

1. She is a teenage girl in a coma, she is going to be in the hospital.
2. He was already poncing around as Mr. Whatsit no problem stalking school kids, so why couldn’t he find her himself?

This is just one of many, many plot holes.

I also read an interview with the Duffer Brothers that came out in the past couple of days where the journalist had spoken to Shawn Levy (the other main director) and he apparently didn’t know the correct lore that the Duffers were trying to explain about the difference between The Abyss, The Upside Down/wormhole, and Dimension X.
The Duffers said they would have to reexplain to to him!

Not to mention the fact they are having to clarify over and over in press that that was a break up scene between Nancy and Johnathan because their writing is so bad.

Well he did this, which people are saying is the same thing.
The whole thing got recontexualized with the retcon about the villain being some older boy doing it to the kids rather than some evil otherworldly being doing it. Now it's all about how sexual abuse makes boys gay even if that's not what the writers intended because they're too up their asses to realize that's what they're showing.

Also I hate the humiliation ritual of every redhead in media now being either lesbian or fucking Black guys. Righteous Gemstones is the only thing I remember seeing recently that had a straight redhead with a White guy.

It's encouraging to see all of the queer fatigue though, so I'm grateful for that.

Did anyone get creepy "pedophile" vibes from Vecna's interactions with Holly and other kids? Why the fuck does he have a little girl dress up and dance around in either his mother's or his younger sister's dresses? Is he a Pisslamic Shitskin and this is his child bride?

I stopped watching Season 5 after the first episode, and I'm glad I did.

Maya Hawk's character really did it for me. She was good in season 3 because her character was charming, funny, and a minor role. As the series progressed, the more screen time and lines they gave her, the more I began to hate her. So starting off the first episode of this season with her rambling on the radio really annoyed me.

Making Holly a main character out of nowhere was fucking stupid. And the dialoge is good awful. Whoever wrote it has no idea how people speak. It's like, "I'm worried about my sister, who's also my mother's daughter, because she was attacked by a demagorg." It's also pretty fucked up that Nancy and Mike had no concern that their dad was maimed.

With what I'm hearing from people, the first episode wasn't the worst of it. It's kind of piquing my curiosity of how much worse this season gets, that I might watch the rest of it.

I remember reading an old interview and she was clearly disgusted with having to kiss the black guy. Apparently the cast and crew were also very unprofessional about it and were whooping and hollering when she did it and she felt humiliated.
Holy fucking based Sadie Sink. Do you have a source for this or will a simple google search butter my biscuit?

Allowing Maya Hawke any creative input into her character was a mistake the viewers have been paying for since Season 2. Robin is unkillable for obvious reasons, but she has undoubtedly been murdered billions of times in the imaginations of the audience.

I'm circling back to be excited for the finale. This is how Millie Bobby Brownjovi reacted to being asked 'Are you happy at how they wrapped things up with your character?'

This might yet turn into a glorious dumpsterfire.
