light is indie , make your own framework & engine solumn be our lord in HOLYC ,
Pirateing hits the valve point of service problem & industry & normalcy.
stop buyiing digital games its not going to get better.
Indie games, a lot of them, rely on storefronts that are online only and can revoke access to your library of games if they so choose.
I think GOG is the only one by design that doesnt do that

Its why id rather pirate, no risk of losing it by storefronts or publishers and I dont have to pay

EU can't even protect consumers, so like what does it have left?
The EU never existed to protect consumers, it only exists to force unpopular laws (forced trade, deindustrialization, mass immigration, etc.) on "democratic" countries without going full mask-off anti-democratic.

It really is all a farce, huh? One of those things you know but you need to be reminded about once in a while.
All the "politicking" is just a show where they slow-roll the things TPTB are trying to do.

there was like a 15 year span of time where the supply of american defense funding was so strong it enabled europe to completely ignore their obligation to preserve their sovereignty and they enacted sweeping socialist economic policy that ended up collapsing ~30 years later once america asked them to foot their own bill. it was a larp

europe is and will always be a feudal state that exists so retarded inbred aristocrats can collect taxes rape kids with impunity, and your insolence in even questioning the status quo means you deserve to be sent to the penis explosion chamber post haste

Literally nothing. The EU provides nothing positive on things that actually matter and is a literal globohomo cancer on all its member states. Bureaucracy, patronizing and abusing the people and infinite (sand)niggers, who will kill and rape with impunity. That's what this pile of marxist dogshit represents.

The day the EU dies, I vill celebrate. And I VILL be happy.

Good job EU, you're completely useless.

I guess his last shot is if California actually manages to do something about it and not make it completely retarded in the process...

God damn it...
The way CA's law is worded it sounds like it's just the purchase of the game and "add-ons or additional content" which leaves a LOT of interpretation in battle passes, virtual currency, and lootboxes. You bet your ass that those won't be covered and may have even been explicitly written to make sure that those weren't covered.

Alright so we know theres no light at the end of the tunnel. Which means paying for any video game is a risk as you may lose the product forever despite purchasing it
I think if anyone has qualms about videogame piracy, nows the best time in history to justify it for digital goods
So what you are saying is we essentially need to pirate software.
