Which is funny cause Finn is actually pretty bad with his whole love interest thing with the first. He acts whiny and entitled and downright creepy at some points and it's never treated as a moral thing or a learning point. He just jumps ship into the next one cause gotta have that love interest side plot.

I thought SJW's would flip shit about it but they seem to enjoy it if anything.
Actually, I think that was around the time the puberty thing was going on. Its the reason his first actual love interest that liked him back broke up with him. Then he was kinda going through other stuff and wasn't dealing with things great as you said(I think at one point he said he just felt empty inside all the time) but after meeting his dad and seeing what a super jackass he was, Finn seemed to make a decision to not end up like that and has been bettering himself.

So basically he went through puberty.

I meant pre-FP, but I get what you mean. They handled it better in later episodes. I think we should probably get back on topic though.

What caused AT to fall out of Tumblr's graces?

Finn not being a cute, easily manipulated boy on the edge of puberty but rather coming of age in a story of his own self-determination. Tumblr loves men who never have this sort of moment (Dobson, some people who work on the MLP comics, etc) because they still look for female approval but rarely is it sexual in nature. Manchildren are great for them.

For the longest time there were fights on the steven universe wiki as to what to put in the gender category for the gems. This new phenomenon of obsessing and analyzing a fictional character's "gender identity is really weird and obnoxnious. ( like the whole Hanji debacle in Attack on Titans) People insist sexless aliens beings who share female qualities is like some kind of-...I don't know-....nonbinary representation and it's just the fuckest shit I've ever seen. Also the fandom gets really whiney when you refer to the gems as women even though in the show their referred to as women, ladies, girls countless times. Also it's okay to call them "moms" but not lesbians....So some female-oriented words are okay and some aren't. Just your typical spastic aspie logic.

Gender and identity is very important to SJW special Snowflakes. So important they go berserk if someone misgenders fictional characters or doesn't give a fuck about their jendurr headcanons. Also these people have big troubles to handle their emotions so they throw tantrums like children. It's funny if you are just an observer but if you are their target and you are stupid enough and try to talk to them- it's a horrible experience.

Also, don't you DARE say that a character is bad or evil or anything negative, even if they've tried to drown children or headbutted one to unconsciousness and proceed to kidnap them. They're just misunderstood babies who need to be loved. uwu

And remember, it is not okay to draw any of the POC characters white or the fat characters skinny, but it is perfectly fine to draw a comic of the central child committing suicide to try to bring their mother back cuz they're to blame for her being gone and everyone misses her. A-ok acceptable material by yours truly the SU fandom.

Oh yes, that. It borders on "The real villain of Cinderella was the Patriarchy" (and yes, I have seen people try to argue that) when it's pretty well established that Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, Rose, Steven and maybe Lapis (when she was doing that evil stuff her gem was damaged which makes them get a bit screwy. Depends on whether you think that caused it) are the only ones who aren't part of a evil alien empire. If anything that was probably the plot twist regarding the other gems, that most of them are bad.

Don't tell the fandom that because they're in pretty deep denial about it. Case in point:

Funny, it was pretty obvious Jasper had an extremely low opinion of the Crystal Gems, that the Kindergarden that Peridot was trying to reactivate seemed to be there for adding to the empire's numbers and y'know, hollowing out the earth's core and that whole "trying to gruesomely kill Steven just because he's there" thing.

The whole "Draco in Leather Pants" treatment really bugs me. Not only for people being so willing to overlook horrible people but half the time but in the case of it happening in fandom only, it actually takes away from what made that character awesome in the first place. A guy like Wario wouldn't even be Wario if he wasn't a money grubbing asshole, for example.

Fortunately those two gems aren't subject to that in-universe because that's probably the fastest way to make me absolutely hate a character (hi, Zinnia)

Everyone is crossing their figures for a redemption arc of Peridot and Jasper. I wonder how they'd react if that were to never happen. Probably another mass produce of death threats to Rebecca and the others for not following the desires of the true fans.

Nah, they don't need reasons to attack the staff, the most they'll do is make more shitty memes about Peridork being Mountain Dew MLG.

If they could make it work then i'd like a redemption arc however if it's anything like the people mentioned above.

Honestly though I started to see how rotten this fandom was with the uncle grandpa crossover. pretty much saying that this whole thing was a stupid mistake, when in fact it was more of the fact that people who worked on both show just wanted to do something fun.

God, I remember when the Adventure Time fandom sperged out about Finn losing his arm and then getting it back a few episodes later. Because there needs to be a positive example of a boy missing an arm, or something. Disregarding the fact that he's a teenage boy that uses swords and really kind of needed that arm.

Tumblr is such a mess. They obsess over having characters that are as disabled as possible and then throw a fit when they don't get their way.
