Also, it's exceedingly difficult for a rational person to ever believe the litanies of self-diagnosed mental conditions that SJWs claim to have. Here's the problem with SU: It's far too dark for a show for young kids, but it's too juvenile for adults and teens. The rather serious backstory, combined with the many cliffhangers and story arcs make it hard for young kids to understand whats going on, but the light-hearted art style and the occasional slapstick bit makes it seem like a joke to older audiences. And that's why Tumblr loves it. The users are between the border of maturity and immaturity, and this makes it a perfect show for them, as they would have enough "Progressiveness" to sperg about, but they do not need to act like adults while at it.

These are people I want nowhere near this damned industry. EVER. They can keep their SU porn to themselves - because that's not art or portfolio material, like some of them seem to otherwise think.
To lighten the mood with my own personal opinion - am I the only one who thinks Pearl is a ballerina bitch who no one should really be looking up to as a character EVER? Or does sound stupid as all get out?

Yeah, unfortunately there's a lot of that. Most fictionkin on Tumblr have at least one SU character as a kintype. Peridot and Lapis Lazuli seem to be the most popular choices for some reason.

I can explain this. They're trying to be edgy and speshul. Lapis and Peridot both have a flippant disregard for the human race, which plays right into their belief that they are different from us normies who care about people even if they don't change their gender every nine days or entertain the utterly daft notion that they are really the souls of fictional characters trapped inside human bodies.
