Ian JQ said it was real, but took it down from his Twitter because people were asking him things. He only shared it because he's followed by many, I assume. But the word is out now.

Like Adventure Time or what, because that and SU are the only good shows on Cartoon Network. It would be a real shame to lose perfectly good storyboarders to fucking Teen Titans Go or something.

Does anyone know how long SU is going to run? I'm really scared that there's going to be some sort of Spongebob effect and the later episodes will be shit tier. But then again, as long as Sucrose, the head animators, and the voice actors stay, it's going to stay good no matter how many times they change the storyboard staff or the low ranking animators.

Didn't someone say around 100 episodes or so? They're safe for two years or so, probably.

I've heard 2-3 seasons.
 
That's tumblr for you. 50 episodes and extra content and creator-fan interaction that is mindful of social causes, but the minute there's even a little "misstep" it all goes out the window and makes the kids shake in their boots.
