Something to understand about Epstiny is that at his core he is an edge lord. The types of edgy opinions/jokes he has are largely similar to shit you see on /pol/ with a few less N bombs. When he makes these obviously inflammatory posts it's best to not even respond and give him the satisfaction of a response as no sane human makes these posts unless there trolling/looking for attention or there genuinly delusional. He's likely a combination of those tho.

It's best to just call him a sex pest/bring up the court case and be done with it as him doing this only distracts from his actual crimes.

I think it worth asking and finding an answer to that question.

Part of the answer is simply that he does something a lot of people don't want to do. He livestreams for hours and hours on end while sitting in the same space. That is extremely unpleasant and very draining. Another piece of the answer is that Destiny is very good at manipulating people and situations in order to make himself look better. Put this together and part of the reason he is successful is because he is so egotistic that the opportunity to aggrandize himself is worth the pain of streaming and over time has learned how to manipulate people because he gets a perverse pleasure out of doing so.

He is nearly perfectly adapted to this debate-bro niche because of his egotism. But eventually he lost the ability to control it, and it is consuming him.

I think the answer is way simpler he's just a narcissistic, arrogant prick. He’s got a cult of yes-men who can’t push back because if they do, he’ll purge them. In other words, he’s confidently wrong, painfully stupid, and completely unlikeable, but in his own head, he’s the opposite. In normal society, people like that get shunned. But in a cult? They thrive. Over time, I expect he’ll end up like Boogie2988 desperate for engagement, courting his haters because they’re the only ones left. And just like Boogie, once they get tired of him, he'll be completely irrelevant.
