I think that nowadays, especially among a progressive audience like Destiny's which tends to actively reject traditional ideas, it's easy to put a shiny veneer on basically anything you do so long as you have a few working brain cells: "Yes, of course I do that thing, it only makes sense to because of [insert postmodernist logic here]".

Nobody has any idea what's normal anymore to the point that so long as you have a poker face and are a good enough talker who can at least put up a facade of academic credibility, you can get people to go along with just about anything.
That means that when it comes to getting people to accept the validity of your lifestyle, not being ashamed is half the battle.

To give him credit compared to a lot of other e-celebrities Destiny honestly isn't that bad as far as I can tell, he at least pursues sex with actual adult women and (unlike someone like that Hasan guy) you don't actively want to hit him in the face.
He also comfortably fits into an altoids tin so he's very portable, just throw him in the back when you're headed to vidcon or w/e.

I want to share a couple thoughts about Destiny's possible "hidden" motivations to talk with you:

1. If there is something you two have in common (that is recent/relevant) is the hatred of the troon. In the case of Destiny, there is expectation from his audience for him to start a defamation suit against that thing (as he announced a while back). As for the troons, they will probably take this as an endorsement/alliance, which might motivate them to sperg at full force again. With this in mind, Destiny might be planning to milk the drama that he himself will ignite (as he usually does) and maybe to a lesser extent distract from the never happening defamation suit (unless they provide him a good case to do so with the incoming shitshow).

2. There might be an even obscurer reason to be willing to host you. As you said, Destiny is not friends with the pedophile anymore (but keep in mind that their friendship did not end because the guy was a pedophile, Destiny was perfectly fine with that and fully promoted him. The break up was because of literal Reddit drama). There is a chance that at some level the shitshow that might unfold from this stream is an expected outcome to distract from the video the pedophile will be making about Destiny. The pedophile has been contacting former orbiters of Destiny because he is planning to expose him as a horney monkey who uses his influence on his orbiters to get in bed with them (male and female, Destiny is self admittedly bisexual). So basically the pedophile and some others will try to #metoo the sperg. It sounds like a joke, but Destiny has been taking this quite seriously (his blue hair could be some attempt of protection against this upcoming attack). Last year, the pedophile announced that he would be releasing his piece around this month, so Destiny could be planning to use your chat as a distraction given the timing and the drama might be born from it.

3. If you decide to chat with the midget, maybe you could ask him:
a. About his motivation to choke up his baby momma
b. Was she already diagnosed with cancer when this happened?
c. Who called the police because of that event? Which of them would call it the most in general?"

Just got done listening to it, and I have to say: it was a chill conversation from beginning to end. The only bit where there was some tension was when Destiny tried claiming that the site's allowance of doxxing was why it was so controversial, but Null came in and swatted that shit down and explained, in good detail, what the actual issue was: reputation. Excellent shit. Anyway, aside from that one moment, Destiny was actually pretty cool and fair to Null and the two had a nice conversation, and it felt like they reached a sort of mutual understanding of one another by the end.
