If you asked Shives what a fascist is he'd probably give you some word salad definition which basically amounts to "person who supports oppression of the common man" not realizing he doesn't represent the common man at all but rather the new esoteric ruling class. And he's advocating for boycotting a video game made by mostly underpaid overworked developers because someone who is only tangentially related to its development may benefit slightly from it.

The real stupidity to all this is the selective outrage.

I have a smartphone, I use Amazon, and I watch Disney products.

BUT Apple Runs Sweatshops, Samsung's Lee Family are awful, Amazon works their employees to the bone so I can get my packages in a day or two, and Disney filmed Mulan near a literal Concentration Camp and thanked the province.

Yet JK Rowling says mean things on twitter about troons and by mean, I mean telling the truth and she needs to be shutdown. It's just fucking ridiculous.
 
Steve Shives goes full consoomer. He says a lot of absurdly reddit tier takes like he unironically says "As an atheist I see going to the movies as a form of going to church". His argument is basically that the reason Furiosa flopped is because people aren't going to the movie theaters. Meanwhile Inside Out 2 does extremely well just a week or two later and he doesn't mention that film.

I'm still surprised he has such high views for such an incredibly dry, and uninteresting video format and style he still runs on.

On October 17th, he uploaded "Twelve seconds that reveal who Donald Trump really is." and managed to score nearly a million views on it. He's been in the youtube scene for years and his views are all over the damn place. He'll go from over 100,000 to 10,000. And his shorts cannot even breach 5000 at best. I fully expect he completely curates his comment section; refusing to let dissenting opinions take over. Likely banning dissenting opinions. I even dug a bit into his newest comments and it's practically the same comments over, and over, and over again.

With his Patreon still going strong, getting roughly $2300 a month in membership subscriptions too. I have to wonder who is still his most ardent supporters.

I'll be fair I don't agree with all his opinions on Trek, but his Trek content is decent. It's when he does other videos on things like politics you really see what a Beta Shit Heal Nitwit he really is.

You know what I hate about his Public Domain videos? He insists on singing the songs himself instead of just playing the actual audio of those famous tracks. Like, blud, I thought this was a Public Domain Day video, not a Phineas and Ferb musical episode. For fuck’s sake, dude!
 
Somehow, that fucking retard Shives came up in my YouTube recommendations. Never having heard of him before, I watched a couple of his videos out of morbid curiosity. Seldomly have I ever seen such a void of intelligence and self-awareness.


Seriously, he's a MovieTardPig-level imbecile and he exhibits the same lack of self-awareness. It's impressive how hilariously stupid he is, yet thanks to Dunning-Kruger he'll never understand how normies are laughing at him
 
I was recently shocked to have found out that this guy was still making videos. I thought he was done. Good to see he's never changed. Likely why he can't get decent views.
 
This video is “POV” cringe & I couldn’t finish.

But if there is one thing I agree on, if a baker has the right to not bake a cake for a gay couple, then a bar owner has the right to not serve a Trump supporter.
