If they make another DLC it'll focus around raising credits for a AGP to get his dick chopped off at Enhance and become the woman he's masturbated too. Starfield is so sexless. The only mention is if you're married and you sleep in a bed. While in Cyberpunk you have Braindances and Dolls. I wasn't expecting to hear Vex's voice actress in Cyberpunk.

This feels like something that mods could easily fix, but I don't think I've seen much outside of maybe turning the strippers into actual strippers or at least having them in underwear.

2077 was about the opposite tone-wise. The clubs were hard, people were calling you a cunt left and right, street whores were a common sight, and the gore was only short of Last of Us.

That Neon was the edgy place in the galaxy because of its octopus dancers and drug that didn't actually do anything was fucking laughable.

Oh God, I'd forgotten about the dancer outfits. I found one as random loot very early in the game before I'd visited the planet, so the instant thought was that it was going to be something a bit revealing and risqué. Instead it made you look like a tellytubby.

Starfield is a perfect example of a game tailored to a DEI crowd the more I think about it.

There can't be *anything* offensive, so it comes out feeling like the most kid friendly M rated game ever.

Why would dancers in a club wear alien costumes in a world without aliens? It'd make more sense for them to wear some kind of retro short skirt go go dancer outfit from the 60's or something, but then that would be too revealing or sexist or something so we got what we got instead.

Can't have drug use or crime in Neon, because that might "trigger" someone.

I used to joke about the people who complained Bethesda games felt like theme park rides, but god damn that's really what this is now.

It is honestly probably the wokest game I have played that is still trying to court somewhat normal people. EVERYONE you encounter in space is some flavor of mystery meat brown, it is clear that there was some kind of off-screen unmentioned genocide of all white people, as that is the quiet part they don't want to say out loud.

Every person is some flavor of queer. None of your companions can be 'evil' because they can't write someone who has bad ideas. The list goes on.

"Lead quest designer" is a nebulous term in Bethesda (it is explained in the video). During Starfield development Shen was forced into de-facto producer's role and did less "designing" than in Far Harbor. Back then he had smaller team and less big company BS to deal with.
