Please do not mistake my attack on Fallout 3 as a defense of New Vegas. There's much to criticize about that game's writing, but you're being absurdly reductionist when you're stating that X, Y, and so on faction wanting to conquer New Vegas for themselves, and that the Enclave and the Good People fighting over who gets to press the activation button for Project Purity, as being equal.

The real issue is the cycle of over promising and under delivering. Deep down everyone knows Bethesda doesn't have the technical ability to do what people expected and gamebryo won't allow for it even if they tried.

Paid cock sucking reviewers will give it a 95. I suspect the Steam page will be borderline Mostly/Very Positive a few months into launch. So far, it seems like I'll give it a 7-8 with some mods.
On the leaks, while they are worrying, it's just a bunch of he-said/she-said tier gossip until someone leaks the full game for everyone to torrent.

If people actually believe the latest Toddism then they're beyond help. Just seems like people are looking for stuff to shit on because they were jilted by Oblivion over 15 years ago.
Best outcome would be it's a great game, second best would be it's total shit because the shitstorm would be really, really funny.
Most boring result would be a mediocre game with no shitshow.

On the topic of main menus I can see where people are coming from if all they remember is Fallout 4. That one was nice.

I am honestly baffled as well people are so dumb. Some parts of the hype I could understand like being eager for space battles and such but so much of the retarded shit people are looking forward to makes no fucking sense. Like the whole "fully explorable planets" which I don't even think Todd said directly.
We are at the point where the gamers don't even need Todd, they tell the sweet little lies to themselves without him having to do it.

That's literally how Star Citizen made all its money. There were people speculating on how space slave trading would work before they even had the hangar module out. Also that entire Fourth Stimpire shit that's just fucking wild.
