Other M sucks in basically all areas, but I don't think the new Star Fox voice stuff is that bad. It's simply not as campy and deliberately over the top as the original.
Yeah I had no issues with the voice acting. It fits. It's Star Fox. Let's not pretend that Star Fox 64 had some amazing script and delivery. It's goofy and just right.

The funny thing about that “outsider” remark in Other M is that Samus only said it slightly stung in Japanese. Why the English translation decided to have her say it “pierced her heart”, I have absolutely no idea.

As for the new Star Fox, the voice acting isn’t horrible, but it does lack that campy charm that the original had.

Saw something somewhere that speculated they're being directed via the original Japanese script and delivery. It sounds a bit like cope, but it's a better guess than nothing.
It's the same cope as the TTYD remake's text changes. People then put them side by side with the actual JP text translated and it was closer tot he original US one than the remake with the JP one in that case. This also follows the TTYD remake's weirdness of being more mush mouthed and wordy, on top of the odd non-energetic or (unnaturally stilted when energy is emulated) delivery, with the voice lines. TTYD didn't havevoice acting but I feel if it did it'd sound like this shit.

The lines I've heard of fox in this remake are delivered in a way feels like he's drugged out on some kinda meds that make him sleepy.

As shit of a game as other M is it's a kinda interesting bit of trivia that the JP version was a lot less retarded in the script's logic. IIRC the infamous shit with the adam guy saying samus can't use something and her going "okey daddy" isn't in the JP one.

Prosafia gaming already leaked an entire playthrough with the true final boss. No surprise here.

The script is noticeably worse and blander (hell, Fox doesn't scream when everything explodes and he expected to die, as he did in the original). Worse, the whole thing is rewriting history for those who won't know this is a remake of an older (and better) game.

I expected that tomorrow I would laugh at those buying this expensive demake, but PG was faster than expected. Oh well, at least the lore entries are new, I guess.

Nu-Fox looks odd with his thick "neck hair".
