this is a thing that can happen even when the skin is just cut in a straight line and sewn back together at exactly the same border. long-term numbness is another risk that always exists when you cut people. Never get surgery unless you have to.

this persons health is ruined, it is very much over for her, and the surgeons will revise the nightmare urological system as many times as she can pay them. revision may even make it worse. extremely grim. I don't know if it is possible to revert to her old anatomy at this point or not, it seems like basically no one tries.
for anyone who doesn't know, the suprapubic catheter is inserted above the pubic bone, so it is a straight tube from the bladder to the outside of the abdomen, right around where the waistband of low-rise pants would go. I ran urinalysis tests for a couple of years, and the only ones I have ever gotten that were positive for nitrite were from suprapubic catheters. nitrite is a sign of an especially bad UTI, and it makes the pee stink. I have seen some gnarly SP catheters, especially on fat patients, where the skin around the catheter is obviously inflamed. I am guessing this is why this person is lying on the couch all day and is otherwise in pain.

That's actually something I was wondering. I'm curious what the oldest rotdog installations now look like, you'd figure there would be changes in shape and size as time goes on. Does the body actually maintain the structure, does the blood supply maintain itself, or does it slowly atrophy over time?

I imagine you're already aware of "willie/willy warmers;" I know they've been around since at least the 1970s. In my experience, they're crochet, not knitted, but I'd always assumed they were gag gifts. When you saw a table of them at the craft fair back in the day, they'd have a little tag that said "for the man who has everything."
Like every other handicraft, of course you can buy them on Etsy now--but the reviews indicate they are being bought by men to wear themselves, regularly, as demonstrated by customer photos. Has this always been going on? The Internet is such a fascinating place.

Not necessarily a bad idea in the northern latitudes, but I wouldn't post online about it.

17 days post-op MLD Stage 2
This one's so fascinating to me. Why is it that color? I've never seen one have that color at all let alone after a glansplasty.
The base and scar ring look very weird as well. It looks like it's trying to pull itself apart.

17 days post-op MLD Stage 2
I'm now 17 days post-op from Stage 2 MLD with Djinovic in Serbia. I flew back home yesterday, all went fine and easy in both Serbia and arriving airport. I took the train to my friend's house to pick up my dog that they'd been looking after for me and after hanging out there for a bit they drove me home with my luggage, dog, and all his things.
It was really good to be back home again and sleep in my own bed finally. Everything is healing pretty well though it looks like I've got a small fistula since Wednesday (14 days post-op). There was some blood and fluid coming out by the stitches where my urethra and neo-urethra was hooked up. They flushed it clean during my follow-up on Thursday. It doesn't leak every time I urinate and nothing has come out of it today, so I'm not overly worried about it.
I finally get to shower properly as well now, been a long time coming after just cleaning myself daily with a washcloth. I've got to put some ointment on twice a day that's antibacterial and then keep it moisturized with some bepanthen throughout the day. Other than that, just need to let it hang more to straighten it out again after having been propped for a while. I don't mind the curvature that much at all though as natal dicks tend to have some too and I like the aesthetic.
Other than that no update really, catheter and stint removal some time end of next week. It needs to be in 3 weeks post-op at least, which will be upcoming Wednesday.
