Those X-rays…apart from the three strong fistula streams in the first picture, all the little spouts at the intended end of the urethra are so miserable, nothing voided, the sheer discomfort of that for a day, let alone indefinitely… don’t wOrry just take a pill for the bladder spasms!

That's the case with most parents of trans teenagers, as far as I can tell: the kid picks it up from school or Tumblr or Reddit, and the parents go along with it because they trust authority figures.
The transhausens by proxy parents don't troon out teenagers, they start when their kids are younger and more vulnerable.

Anyone remember Shape Shifter?
He did an interview with a detransitioned man named Billy who had srs and then phalloplasty:
Billy is a victim of sexual abuse and bullying. After his genital mutilation, he was bleeding so badly that he needed blood transfusions. He now realized that he transitioned to cope with the terrible things that had been done to him. But he didn't just have srs, he had many different surgeries (voice, adams apple, brow, nose...).
At 22:55 they talk about voice surgery...and it turns out both of their voices are extremely damaged because of this. I didn't even know that this surgery can make you lose the abillity to change the volume of your voice. Horrifying!
Then there is also the sad fact that these men are both stating that they transitioned and had all these unnecessary surgeries to finally be happy. Go to 29:01 and look at Shape Shifters reaction when Billy talks about how he isolated himself after transitioning because he was unable to be open about his past. It's people like him and Billy I feel sorry for. Not the shrieking gaydens, not the disgusting agp fetishists.
Billy eventually found Jesus and detransitioned. I'm happy for him although religion is another can of worms. Note how he talks about how he learned that thoughts can come from god or the devil. Poor Billy, what he needs is to stop coping. It's not the devil that caused his suicidal thoughts - it's his traumatic experiences. But nonetheless detransition and religion improved his life. He even got married.

- Hoarseness.
- Not enough pitch increase (voice is still too low).
- Scarring inside your voice box or on the outside of your throat.
- Too much pitch increase (voice is unnaturally high).
- Vocal cord dysfunction.
- Vocal cord lesions (abnormal growths or bumps on your vocal cords).

This is from US sites, most of these people go overseas because this is an elective surgery costing over $15k here.

It comes across as vapid, narcissistic and clearly utterly uninterested in what Billy is saying for most of that video. The only times that doesn't feel like the case is when they're talking about stuff it has also gone through, like the vocal surgery stuff, when they are telling their own story back at him. What a massive tosser.

Okay yeah, he gets a pass for that then. But maybe shouldn't be shooting for a sideline in interviewing people if he's not able to focus and act like he gives a shit about what they have to say!
Edit to avoid doublepost faggotry: @FuckedOffToff he's doing god's work, but it was off-putting enough that I noped out of the final ten or so minutes of the vid. Knowing now he's got a genuine impairment, I think he'd make a far better podcast host than he does a video interviewer, he could fiddle about and keep his hands busy without coming across as so disengaged then.

Yeah, it does come off as a little vapid but I have watched a lot of stuff with Shape before and I think he's just always in a constant state of unease and he fidgets because he can't cope with being still. I generally feel pretty bad for him and I think he does a lot of good speaking out in public about the dangers of transition though.Wow.. that poor guy
