I agree with most of what you said, but I will be a broken record on this one point: A LOT of these guys (and girls) have people in their lives who tried to tell them no and the Cult of Trans convinces the troon that their loved one is transphobic and to cut them from their lives, or at least threaten to if they didn’t « support them on their trans journey »
The most maddening part is listening to the detrans-ers who will still blame the person who warned them and say shit like « they should have tried harder to stop me! » despite knowing people have lost custody of their kids or been completely ghosted for doing so.
I’ve never heard a single trans person take responsibility for their decision to get SRS when it doesn’t turn out the way they want, no matter how hard they were crowing beforehand about being an adult and being able to make their own decisions.
