My assumption as to why CB's parents let Ashley do her thing us that they're negligent white trash types. They also let CB drop out of school (which I still suspect was done at Ashley's urging), which alone isn't super suspicious but when combined with letting a 20 year old fuck their at the time 16 year-old and move in kinda paints a picture that they don't give a healthy amount of fucks about what their kid is up to.

Parents like that are all over the South.

I've said it before but the state of the house in some of their selfies is very telling. apparently the parents are fine with them writing on the walls etc. neglect of the house usually means the caregivers are neglecting everything

They've dropped a shitton of their kins, I notice, but two of them stand out to me:

1) They both identify as Handsome Jack from Borderlands. I thought there was some unspoken fictionkin law that doubles weren't allowed?

2) Child Bride is identifying as Edd Gould, from Eddsworld, while Springy is Tom (aka tomska). This bothers me because not only was Edd a real person, but he passed away from cancer not too long ago. I'm like 99% sure this is for stupid Tom/Edd shipping purposes, and that makes it even MORE disrespectful than it already is.

It's people like Springy who truly make me wonder, "how did our culture get to this point"? How did we get to the point where what Springy does is even remotely acceptable to more than maybe two other people?
Also, I'm seriously curious as to what lies Springy had to spin in order for CB's parents to let her live with them. Abuse, no doubt. I'm so grateful for all the new Kiwis who know Springtrapp personally and can give us insight into her thought processes, her past, and her personality (or lack thereof) but I wish we could get some of CB's ex-friends in here. There have to be a few at least.

I read this whole thread a little a year ago when I first discovered the fakes. Kinda set my first bar for actual terrible people here... Then I found Nick Bate and JTM...
Kinda back on topic: there's always "more than enough" (for lack of a better phrase) of these kinds of people in any society in any time period. theyre leeches on the underbelly of society, feeding off the hard-work and good will of others.

It's really popular among tumblr fans of people like Markiplier, JonTron and the GameGrumps.

Factkin are creepy, and almost certainly an offshoot of those RPF people who like to ship actual people together (usually celebrities). In the grand scheme of things, they're just another stop on the fucked up internet pain train ride.

But there's just something about claiming to be factkin of a recently deceased person and using their name/likeness for roleplay shipping bullshit that really rubs me the wrong way.

You're not going to get any CB friends in here for a few years yet because the subculture they're involved in and sub-subculture they're building up is so young, and so are the people involved in it. You get plenty of people associated with Lawrence in threads created in 2015 because they met him in 2012, so you'll need to wait until 2018/2019 if you want to hear about what CB's like behind the scenes.

It's not necessarily just a headmate thing, though it can be. One part of 'Tumblr culture' is that people usually tag their personal posts with [nameorsomewordtheylike].[fileextension], or 'shut up [name]', or some other variant. The former has definitely become the most prominent over time. Like everything else that belongs to 'Tumblr culture', it was borne out of the 2014 Paradigm Shift. If you have or claim to have headmates, just organizing all their posts as [name].txt makes things a lot easier.

When we were last talking he did claim to still have headmates from circa 2012 (mostly so he could insist darzie tortured them all into being broken abuse victims), but I've consistently seen Eric claimed as 'darzie manipulated me into this'. Even with the most basic understanding of who Lawrence is as a person, I don't see him keeping up something that bores him for that long.

"soft blocking" typically means block-listing someone then unblocking them. Esentially used to force someone to unfollow you, because blocking does that automatically.
"hard blocking" is blocklisting and leaving it forever
