Man the voice acting on this video really puts to perspective how important voice direction is. It appears that nearly all of them do speak Japanese, however regardless of whether or not how professional they are, they sound like foreigners speaking Japanese. Especially with Sandy and Mr Krabs

I mean...this is Sandy’s VO’s Twitter: https://mobile.twitter.com/saki__yukino
And this is Krabs, who also did Bubble Bass: https://mobile.twitter.com/johnwangvo

The virgin fake anime RWBY
>Created by a team who only knows how to make halo machinimas
>The only one talented animator on the team and he isn't there anymore
>"Anime Homework"
>Makes references to anime but it doesn't improve the show
>Appeals to teenage yuri addicts
>Anything outside of fight scenes has no effort on it
>Admittedly had no plans from the start
>Opening is generic shonen anime garbage
>Voice actors played by Ethots or cosplayers
>Generic music

THE CHAD SPONGEBOB ANIME PARODY
>Animated by one talented lad
>Supported by his patreon
>A natural weeb
>Homages Anime tropes synthesized expertly with Spongebob context.
>Appeals to both western and eastern fans
>Gives small animation detail and insert shots. Competent use of mise en scene
>Hints at a greater story
>Opening is original, even the music, even some moments of genuine sakuga
>Hired actual Japanese voice actor to complete the gag, not half bad too.
>Background music produced originally for the show unironically a little inspiring.

To think he spent so much time and effort on something he won't get any financial return for.
Why would that matter? If you have a hobby that you love to do, money shouldn't be a factor in what makes it enjoyable. There's plenty of people that have a Patreon that don't do shit once the money starts flowing. Not to mention it starts to feel like a job afterwards that you grow to hate because at that point you're putting (sometimes) unrealistic expectations with your projects and works all for the sake of getting it out in a timely matter so people don't go "wtf?!?!" at you all day everyday.

I'm not being cynical, I'm praising it for giving a lot with very little to get back. It's impressive how much he did it out of passion.

Charlie did an anime analyst video of it.

Double post, but Youtube pulled down the video and gave his account a strike because they said he was “targeting children” with his video.
