Spinosaurus facts:
-First fossil found was bombed out of existence during WWII
-Was semi-aquatic and a fish eater
-Possibly the largest terrestrial carnivore ever, with a length of around 14 meters and a weight of 7 to 9 tons
-Cool sail
This would probably work better as a thread documenting all of the colossal fuck ups surrounding this specific animal
Like I think recently they amended the quadruped model because they fucking forgot to account in their models for the animals lungs.
I'm still convinced that Sarcosuchus may have evolved into Spinosaurus due to the fossils being found in the same African region. Yes, I'm aware there's enough of a gap between years to debunk any relation, but I don't think it's a huge coincidence that with the disappearance of a Chad alpha came another similar Chad of a different name behind it. That region was absolutely dominated by aquatic reptilians.
I'm a Spiny-stan while my hubby is a T-Rex-stan, and I do love Tyrannosaurus too, it's just that Spinosaurus is a fucking crocodilian and I live for it.
Anyhoo post Spiny media representation. Spinosaurus Devil Fruit is based as fuck and appeared before a T-Rex Fruit. (Anime for some stupid reason was just copying what they saw in the manga, so first animated episodes of the Spiny form has the incorrect tail until later.)
Birds are the coolest dinosaurs; after all, they were the only ones badass enough to survive the meteor. On a more serious note, the IRL Spinosaurs is far interesting and cool than the JP3 version.
Baryonyx is better than Spinosaurus, because's a cool, confident Chad who accepts himself for who he is, and he doesn't have to cope about how he could totally beat T-Rex in a fight, bro, like some small dicked Arab loser.
I absolutely like paleontology when I was a kid, and the Spinosaurus family was one of my favorite, aside from the Stegosaurus. Primordial creatures are a cool thing to me, consider I did have some dino models left at home. If I have a favorite of its family, they are the Irritator, Suchomimus and the Baryonyx. I always thought I was in the cool kids' club when I like T-rexes.
