Culture Spiderman and friends attack Supermarket staff - (insert UK going to shit, if it wasnt already, here)

So some guys dressed as spiderman, batman, wheelchair man and ali g (I guess their superheroes now according to media reports) and some girls dressed in tutus attack asda workers in London. Yes theres been many reports but what you want to see is the video innit :

Apparently this was for a youtube channel. these plonkers are supposed martial artists who go round picking fights in stores. They've been arrested and their youtube has been suspended.

Still looking into this but a dude on reddit is claiming that Spider-man is a 37 year old grandfather, and that it was his daughter (who also has a kid) who attacked the ASDA worker. Nothing confirmed still but that honestly wouldn't shock me.
Chavs. Nothing really surprising there.

Someone on youtube posted a livestream of part of the incident, taken by one of the fancy dress group:

Heres a video of one of their 'pranks':

Looks about right. Some of the Instagram stuff they've got it looks this is fairly par for the course stuff for them doing random shit in shops often while in costume for attention online. Basically minor crimes but so minor that the shops will tend not to bother even reporting them to police.

Unfortunately because they're also chav scum the instant someone tries to stop them in a way they deem unacceptable, which depending on what's in their system could be anything from physical contact to a stern word, they flip out like absolute idiots and will assume everyone trying to stop them they don't know is deserving of however much violence they can dole out.

Looks like they're attempting to identify them here

Mainly when executing warrants against organised crime gangs or dealing with the latest Jihadi nutter in London. They are usually quick on the scene to any assault using a knife, and other deadly weapons.

Those BMW X5's that you've probably seen driving around depending on where you live are armed response vehicles.
Yeah now that I think about it I should have made it clear most police dont carry here afaik, not that there's no guns at all. I live in a rough neighbourhood and its mostly teens doing arson and the police dont do anything, as in most of the country. It makes sense that they have guns for those instances you say, but afaik on general patrol they dont, which im assuming from the responses here American cops always have a gun on them?

This is the armed police car I encountered a couple of years ago whilst exploring an abandoned waterworks in a sleepy Cambridgeshire village. Was exploring the main building and turned a corner to come face to face with a copper that had a pistol strapped to his leg. Seemed that one of the neighbours thought I was a pikey stealing pipes and they were apparently the nearest unit or were bored. Was lucky I ran into him, as they were just about to send the land sharks in.

I see a fair few of the vans screaming about up here. They tend to have 'Tactical Aid Unit' written on the sides.

Yeah, I think so. Every cop I've seen in America has always carried at least a side arm.

People tend to behave differently when they know everyone around them can be armed but you keep living in a gun free zone.
Ahh yes. America, a country famous for it's well behaved people. I'm sure Detroit, a state with no permit required for open carry, has very well mannered inhabitants.

Also, somthing somthing school shooting...

Giving guns to the inner city dwellers is a recipie for disaster, no matter what nation you live in.

Detroit is actually on the up, from what I've heard. Chicago is the new Hell and they have pretty restrictive gun laws (for America).
