A series I've had a lot of fun with lately is this tv show in which special ooperator Wils Willis is dropped into a series of military exercises against crayon-eating forces of varying number and type to accomplish a specific objective with mission command also assigning various other objectives. Along the way Wil (AKA. whiskey-whiskey) will regale the audience with various tactical tips and what his strategy and objective will be via his guncam and other equipment. Strangest part of the show is that they will spend a sizable chunk of the beginning of each episode masturbating over "simmunition" a "Non-lethal" form of paintball ammunition exclusively used by the military and the police that closely simulates the 'real thing' usually followed by one of the OPFOR bitching at how much it hurts.

While large parts of the show could likely be staged for the audience it seems to be edited pretty well and its pretty fun to watch the ooperator ooperate

Unfortunately the show didn't garner much popularity so it can be difficult to track down the full series anywhere (outside america anyway because of gay region-locking on media)

Shit I remember watching that way back when. Was just thinking of it recently, but didn't remember what the show was called. Will have to see if I can find more.

It was a cool premise; shame it didn't get much traction. Could have done quite a bit for military nerds.

I thought I was the only one who even remembered that show. It was a pretty entertaining show that was sadly too good to last, IMHO.
