I'm unsure about it thus far. Some jokes land but others are dreadful. (Like the episode 2 space chimp/dog bits were just...there for me). I can already tell I'm going to hate the daughter. But I love the acting, especially a bitchy John malkovich. Greg Daniels's first seasons can be kinda rocky so I'll withhold full judgement until a second season. (If one ever comes out)

I do actually think they handle the Trump jokes well. They're subtle (and we know how subtle flies over sjws heads) and don't immediately date the show. "Idiot president" is a popular enough character trope it works without being in your face.

I wish someone had made a Space Force show like a militarized Trek. I know it's impossible because it would portray one of Trump's projects in an interesting way so you can't have that today.
A hard sci fi show about a war in space fought with dangerous tin cans is what I'd want.
Das Boat, but in space.

All the "president is eccentric" jokes are kept juuuust vague enough that they'll last another election cycle or two, kind of like how Veep handled it.

It's good, it's cute... it's not a 10. Nothing will ever be 30 Rock again. Fuck.

Its certainly funny, but its not hilarious.
It has its political quips, but its not the usual "Orange Man dumb! Ba-dump - tiss!" of late night comedy.
It's like 4/10 on some of the slower episodes, 7/10 on some of the better ones.

Daughter by far was the most annoying part.
