I am making this thread to archive the goings on and history of the absolutely batshit website Soyjak.Party on a website that isn't the Soyjak Wiki. Over the next couple of days I will be gradually adding to this post based around my outline that can be seen here. If there is anything that you all believe has not been added and should be. The Foodism thing I can’t say too much on because I’m unfamiliar with the group and have never really seen the name thrown around on /soy/ in my time. But I can say that there were a good few Discord groups, so sure, there could be some association through one niche as shit group.
The Studio Massa and /qa/ connection is a really weird rabbit hole that I should give it’s own section to. To put it very simply though, there was this one really autistic Dutch guy who spammed it into popularity.
Yeah I’ve been thinking on and off about things I should have initially put into the post as I haven’t been able to sleep. The Dancing Swede is certainly one of them. ‘P spam was really fucking bad for a while before Kuz got a large amount of jannies. I remember that /sneed/ would have shit up that was at times days old because people sage post their garbage on the dead board.
One thing I remember from the Soot days is that during the latter half of his time as admin, he would get notoriously MATI over specific posts directed at him (especially ones calling him a dataminer, or ones involving the 'Cobson' Soyjak variant, which is an entire rabbit hole in itself due to the insane level of inane controversy it attracts)

The Sharty has become it's own thing in a lot of ways and has its own jargon and memes. Many terms may be unfamiliar to the uninitiated, so I think it best to create a dictionary of all the terms and in-jokes:
Gem: Generally funny/quality content. Gems are rare and it's a sin to push gems out of the way or push down gemmy threads with non gem posts. You will see soyjaks edited like diamonds or holding diamonds to reflect this. Synonyms are often other words with the suffix '-erald' applied.
Coal: The opposite of a gem. Coal can be found anywhere and it mucks up the 'gem mine.' Coal is often used to describe content that is painfully unfunny or 'cringe' as the zoomers say. Synonyms of coal include dust and brimstone.
Variant: Any kind of soyjak that is a significant deviation from the original soy wojak. Variants only resemble wojak in style, but they are often tracings of other images or are edits of existing'jaks.
nas: "Not A Soyjak." Posting, especially on the /soy/ board, is dedicated towards posting 'jaks, and posting things that aren't soyjak related is often considered coal. Back in the early days, there was a dedication towards creating new soyjak variants off of existing photographs or other soyjaks. Poster would often post an image of a guy with an open mouth and say 'new 'jak' and everyone else would rate whether it was nas coal or ias gem. This doesn't happen too much anymore, so nas has just become a synonym for coal.
-ACK: The sound a troon makes when he hangs himself; often in the middle of speaking in greentext. Can be applied to other variants
HWABAG: He Will Always Be A Gem. A catchphrase of the supporters of Cobson, one of the younger variants that caused much controversy when he was first introduced. You will see variants of this like HWABAS4BBC: He Will Always Be A Slut For BBC.
'p: Shorthand for cp. You will often see posters shorten words in this manner where they cut off many letters and replace them with an apostrophe. I don't know the origin of this. But common examples include: soyjak -> 'jak, sharty -> 'arty, Cobson ->'son, Stonetoss -> 'toss, Nicacado Avocado -> 'cado.
Sproke: A combination of Coke and Sprite. Jaks are often seen wearing soda drinking hats with one can of each.

im permabanned poster soytanstomper58. i first started reading the sharty when i was about 12. by 14 i got really obsessed with the concept of "jakking" and tried to channel it constantly, until my thought process got really bizarre and i would repeat things like "ohnonono nusois what is this" and "pizza tower furfag ESL zoophile" in my head for hours, and i would get really paranoid, start seeing things in the corners of my eyes etc, basically prodromal schizophrenia. im now on antipsychotics. i always wondered what the kind of "jakked" style of sharty humor was all about; i think it's the unconscious leaking in to the conscious, what jungian theory considered to be the cause of schizophrenic and schizotypal syptoms. i would advise all people who "get" the sharty to be careful because that likely means you have a predisposition to a mental illness. peace.
