Constantly engage with your userbase, pushing new updates n' shieet.

Then shill it everywhere. Every 4chan board, Xitter, the shitty, iFunny, wherever. Get a massive culture mosh pit going. ARYANime, 'jaks, frogs, oldfags, newfags, random tourists, just everything and everyone arguing like le old kway.

And then leave it alone. Let memes happen naturally instead of trying to force them. Let posters decide what the culture is. Just let people post, and let the place develop its own identity.

Of course I have no skill in managing imageboards, but I wish someone would make this.

You're right but as long as you:
1. use Quote's glowtech and MPA
2. Rule the site like a dictator
3. Constantly shill the site and add QoL features to the site
Then maybe. It may die, but as long as you never give up, anything can happen

I originally intended to leave quietly, so as to let quote have his moral victory over me. I wasn't particularly interested in revenge or anything like that. However, some recent events have convinced me to resurface, as my removal was laced with vagueness, leading to post mortem slander of varying degrees popping up in & outside of the quotecord in an effort to turn people, including friends, away from a deceased admin. I don't really understand what the goal is here, however, since that's the route the administration appears to be taking I'm now preparing a full disclosure of the site's inner workings for tomorrow. Feel free to reply to this post with any questions you'd like answered, they can be anything.

That's /soy/ culture, /soy/ is a shitpost dump but it's literally like /b/ if it was SFW—not /qa/.
I'd say kissu's /qa/ board is much like /qa/'s culture, even though they don't allow soyjaks—it still has it's charm.

I bought this imageboard site about four years ago, around the time I moved to Turkey. My Turkish has never been good enough to manage this place, and over the years, I feel like it’s gotten even worse. Plus, having to deal with being accused of promoting terrorism every time someone kills someone else in this country has started to get really annoying. In the latest incident, the police came to my home (as you know, my dox has been going around for a few years now) and spoke with me. Since I’m a foreign national, they didn’t arrest me, and I immediately contacted the consulate. Long story short, I’m facing the situation of "deportation", but I’ll leave on my own before that happens.

We have three Turkish moderators; for their safety and that of our users (statistically speaking, no matter how perfect the software we use is, it’s not impossible for us to be hacked due to a 0-day vulnerability in a dependency in Debian or other complex reasons), I want to shut down this site while things are still running smoothly. All data is solely in my possession and will be deleted. Kereste will close on June 1st. It would be a lie to say I’m attached to this site, but I’m still grateful to the users who’ve shared here. Good luck.
