I doubt they could get away with it, given rumors about how Paramount/Comedy Central told Trey and Matt to eat shit when (allegedly) they told their corporate masters the that they (allegedly) bought a pot farm and wanted to name it Tegridy Weed (the same name as Randy's pot farm in show) and use Randy/Towlie, who Trey and Matt don't own, as mascots and shill their weed brand on the show itself.

Well, this would explain why there is zero good episodes coming out and why the ones that do come out so infrequently. At least you can make some profit off a restaurant, nobody buys a weed plantation unless they're part of a cartel or if they sample their own merchandise. Them smoking their own supply would also explain why they have zero interesting ideas apart from "Drumpf bad".

He ran Turning Point, which recruited and organized college Republicans and was the respectable face of college Republican outreach, especially compared to the walking dumpster fire that is Nick Fuentes and his Groypers. His death pretty much cripples the Rights ability to make inroads on college campuses, especially since now Ben Shapiro is the only other respectable Young Republican left to carry on Kirk's work and Shapiro is forever looking like he's auditioning for the Washington Generals point guard spot.

The man became a martyr, and if what VP Vance says is to be believed, he had genuine fans within government itself. If anything, TPUSA just got the best advertisement it could possibly get, so while Charlie is gone their power is anything but weakened.

The Charlie Kirk episode was petty and retarded and I hope Stone and Parker get in trouble for it just like Jimmy Kimmel did.

Even in the Trump episodes, ignoring the small penis there's some great statues(I think?) and paintings of Trump that I find awesome. Most of my racism and other similar opinions were literally formed by South Park. I think it's a huge stretch to say they're trying to go after republicans. In the vast majority of their episodes they make leftist lunacy to be insane, and they make normal people and the right wing be the voice of reason

Their specials went after woke stuff, called out Disney for just putting lame gay women in all shows ruining them, I've never felt like they are going after one side or the other. They made the faggot episode, they showcased some degenerate horrific shit gay people did and how disgusting it was, they made fun of cancellations with mr hankey, indian tech support, ads, gingers, women, black people, they had randy say Nigger, they showed Muhammed and literally got censored, yet they portray Jesus as this really cool dude most of the time, he fought sandniggers with an AR!

I understand that to some it might seem like this is some sort of specific attack on republicans, but as an outsider it just seems like regular business to me

They've stated before they're more libertarian and that really explains a lot of their middle of the road/both sides suck schtick. Biden was your run of the mill milquetoast president with a dash of senility, you could scrape the barrel like SNL for sure, but there were much more relevant pop culture things going on. They've typically done a few election episodes but that's about it, I imagine the only reason Trump's got so much attention is because every major media outlet has been screeching about him for ten fucking years now, kinda hard to ignore. I'm sure his oversteps in censorship stoked the fuck out of their fires too considering that was kinda the point of the first new episode.

Yeah, ripping on Trump is played the fuck out and lazy at this point, but it's only been an overarching B plot (which I agree is something South Park should stop doing). Seems like a lot of people here are coping and foaming at the mouth over them poking fun at the wrong politics when they should be happy these washed up assholes are the only ones making fuck you money while going out of their way to piss off every major media organization and getting away with saying faggot on TV in current year.

If the next episode is completely cucked after the Charlie Kirk shit, I might get MATI with you guys but I'm crossing my fingers they do their thing and double down on the controversy instead.

I liked Charlie and a few others like Crowder but I found their take on the right wing breadtubers/ “change my mind” grift hilarious, exaggerated for sure but hilarious. There's no way it was delayed the day of unless Paramount saw what the episode was about and scrapped it. I've been wishing for that for a while too. But other than the Dickenbaus episode, which was just okay, it's been pretty much nonstop Randy or politics, or both. It's very tiresome and I almost wish at this point they just made it into some Randy spinoff series instead of skin walking as South Park.
Hell, other than the very weak Kenny death in the end of obesity special, when was the last time they used Kenny in any meaningful way? 8 or 9 years ago? When was the last time Kyle or Stan had any meaningful difference other than to just spout exposition? At this point, just cut out the kids and have your self insert, Matt and Trey.

Could be any plot with a demonized right wing figure as the main plot, including Trump. After a political assassination it's a massive liability to do those plots since turns out "words are violence" cuts both ways.

In one episode, entitled “Got A Nut,” character Eric Cartman impersonates MAGA activist Charlie Kirk as he “master debates” college students on women’s rights and other issues. That episode was pulled from the show’s cable rotation after Kirk was fatally shot on Sept. 10, though it is still available to stream on Paramount+.

Because “South Park” often reflects events from politics and pop culture, fans on social media suspected Kirk’s death played a role in the delay. (“It was definitely finished. Just not allowed to air,” one commenter said on Instagram.) The decision Wednesday by Disney and ABC to suspend comedian Jimmy Kimmel's late-night show because of comments he made about the incident only added to the speculation.

However, Stone and show co-creator Trey Parker have a famously hasty and chaotic process for developing each episode, chronicled in the aptly named 2011 documentary “6 Days to Air: The Making of South Park.” The newest episode is slated to air on Wednesday, Sept. 24. “It’s gonna be great,” Stone said.

Honestly it used to be better. It was just one of those shows you snuck a watch or two in for when your parents were out of the house because it's full of swear words and kids liked that edgy shit.
