My wife was in a sorority while in college and had a blast. There wasn't any drinking or anything wild, but they did a lot of activities.

The whole Greek thing is dumn, imho. I don't see how people put so much focus on it. Granted, I never went to a proper University, but I was in the Marines, something that you can actually be proud of.

I should add that what champthom said is important to remember - the social and networking aspect to college is just as important as the academic aspect, if not more so.

Your GPA won't really get you interviews, but knowing someone who knows someone who needs to hire in your field will.
