"The most important part of Mother's Day is my being trans"Ver archivo adjunto 26428
I almost tried to play Devil's advocate here and say that trans people are not allowed to adopt. But then I did some very simple research that shows Canada, the home of the author, allows same-sex adoptions. There's also surrogacy services in many countries, provided that one of the couple can still provide genetic material for it.

I understand that people can't just up and leave their homes to be able to adopt, but rather than shoving this picture designed to make us pity them, they should be actually, you know, helping bring a solution.

Damn, my English does suck.

Oh shit. I had thought that the Mother's Day image was supposed to be in recognition for mothers of murdered transsexuals, not an image complaining about the inability for trannies to give birth. Yeah, get over it, Sophie.

It's also an issue even some cisgendered women face (because of infertility) so it's not really something she should be painting as a special-snowflake-only problem.

Yup, if you don't use fucked-up made-up pronouns this means you don't know English grammar.

Hamza is slowly becoming my favorite character. Probably because the main character didn't mindwash him in one panel.
I'm not sure. From the last panel it seems some of Stephen's douchiness has rubbed off on him.

In the US, 1.6 million women are reported to be infertile. That's 6% of the American population. While it is unknown as to the actual number of transgendered people in the population, estimates are around 70,000, which is 0.3% of the population.

Looking on Sophie's Facebook, yes, it was intended for mothers of transexuals in general. So I do have to eat my foot a little, there.

I don't blame him being snarky to be honest. The first question he got asked was literally about gender from some tucute tumblrite. I'd not be too pleased either in that situation.

It's going to be a "redemption" arc that involves him becoming a nan0boy at the end.

That is my expectation. It will then go back into the nuclear fail it once came from.

I can't blame you I thought it was about trans people who already had kids pre-op.

Ha ha. I get it. You have a cock. Clever.

Yes, we've already ceded all reality to you.
Funny, I knew a deeply religious woman who used to to say something similar about godless transgendered sodomites.
Oh, sorry, that was transphobic. That was said by the group of blind, intolerant, mean-spirited, deluded ideologues that we're NOT supposed to support. It's getting so hard to tell you two apart lately...
