The sheer amount of words used in a single panel and all the talk of jargon laden self-realization talk reminded me heavily of the Warrior comic.

That's honestly probably he best he can hope for. No, I tell a lie - the best he can hope for is that Stephie's complete inability to go more than five minutes without spouting some SJW jargon, or going on about how she's been wounded in the special trans feels because Pokemon asks if you're a boy or a girl and there's no 'special snowflake' option, will bore him to sleep within five minutes, so he'll manage to escape relatively unscathed.
