This one makes me feel uncomfortable. Myrick is a transman (he was born a girl) and Stephie is a transwoman (she was born a boy). Stephie is assuming Myrick is attracted to girls, but Myrick is biologically female. How can she guess what type of person he's attracted to? What if Myrick still prefers men? Is she going to be mad because he's invalidating her identity or something?

Those "puberty blockers" are actually drugs for people with cancer (lupron, goserelin and so on) It's true look it up. It's also used for people with precious puberty but these kids have their actual puberty when the time is right. And when it comes to health...well...see for yourself.

How ironic - there is a lot of drama going on because lesbians and gays "exclude" (yep that's what trannies call it) trans people from their dating pool.

No kid acts like that. Not even actual trans gender kids put that much thought into gender identity, they usually just understand that they feel more comfortable with the opposite gender. Obviously the only experience this guy has had with trans people is with crazy trans latin@s on tumblr, which shockingly enough isn't very true to the reality to the situation. The only real upside to this comic is that the guy apparently fails to see anything wrong with making young children obsess over genitalia, which is pretty fucking hilarious.

I like the fact that the punchline is basically, "I can use my disorder as a way of avoiding difficult issues in my life." I always suspected, but it's good to see the tumblrinas spell it out.

This comic is like the Tumblr version of Billy the Heretic. I never plan to have kids, but if I ever did, I don't think I'd be able to help but beat them senseless if they turned out like this. And then put them up for adoption.

If I ever had kids I think I'd move to the middle of nowhere and pretend the internet didn't exist.

You would also think that this is something they would consider before they transition. It's a give in that your odds of finding a mate diminish significantly after you make drastic changes to your genitalia, so a sensible person would understand that they must decide what matters most to them. Are they living in a community with people interested in dating transsexuals? If not, are they able to move to such a community? Do they consider transitioning more important than finding a partner? What will make them most happy?

I imagine some transgendered people choose not to transition fully because of the difficulty of finding interested partners. It may not be fair, but that's life. Sometimes you have to make tough decisions.
