Once people's source of stability is gone, they will have no compunction killing and eating each other or letting themselves to be dragged into concentration camps by Somalians.

No, selling a $700 (now $900) ps5 "pro" (with the exact same shitass cpu that bottlenecks the base model) without a disc drive was them testing the waters. This decision was made years ago, and the chance for there to be any backlash big enough to derail their plans was also years ago.

Killing the Digital Store of the PS3 is the most retarded bullshit I've ever heard, it had the best library out of any store besides Steam. There are so many obscure PS1 and PS2 games on there that they never added to future stores, it's a huge library of genuinely amazing games. I really hope that normies discover emulating en masse at some point.

By the time they drop a 1500 dollar digital only console you might as well just build a PC at that point because physical media was the only advantage consoles had over PC until now. But most gamers are cattle ofc.

Physical disks haven't contained the playable game for almost a decade now. Disks have already been reduced to glorified game keys that prompt your system to download the other 90% of the game before you can play anything.

Yeah now companies should stop fucking around with "code in boxes" bullshit, in fact I want this scummy practice made illegal.
