The only thing I learned from that was he made it in 2007, which confirmed my suspicion that he only put on Youtube. 240p it is. What's especially too bad about that is you can tell it's a shitty export of his source files too, lip syncing falls behind the audio, frames cross over each other, it's really horrible.
Sad if he didn't have a Hi-Res master copy he bothered to save at all.

I have words to say about their downplay of the golden age of online animation. Back then, every online animator was much more prolific and had their own site and there were a massive variety of Flash portals, not just Newgrounds. There were also more animators overall and less of them were, well, dead. There were also the pro-league animation sites like Mondo, Weebl's Stuff and IceBox, all of which are bygone and you can't even see most of the shows they made anymore because they were all pulled. There also used to be animation teams like Team DNZ, Clairvoyance and SamBakZa, most of which don't exist anymore either. For them to say there was no golden age of online animation is absurd. They also seem to be unaware of any animators from that era apart from Adam Philips, which is ironic since he was one the best animators of the time and has zero online presence anymore. But what can I expect from and insular circle jerk like Sleepy Cast?
Rather a shame they don't see that time as a Golden Age, as that was when I was watching these things happen as well. It reconfirms what I already knew about my suspicions that current digital/web productions are nothing more than merely "Disposable Entertainment". The guy admits it himself that he doesn't care, so why should we? That's quite a problem when it comes to the intangibility of art itself, the further we move through time.

I loved spazkids old stuff, checked him out recently, and it's all weird fetish shit now...such a waste of talent.
I even kind of cherish Spaz's old MS paint drawings as the animations. If Sonichu were an animated series, that'd probably be how Chris would do it, except not nearly with the level of detail as Spaz had.

Yeah same here, his stuff really got me into self-made animation as a kid, it's sad to see your inspirations turn out to be complete freaks as you get older.

I think Corey was a degenerate from the start lol. The way he animated MLW was a dead giveaway that he was drawing mostly with is dick.

He's entertaining as a guest on OneyPlays though. If you haven't seen him on it go and watch the Maple Story LP you won't be disappointed!

In fairness, the troll-favoured image of MLW as a sexy, blonde-bobbed, huge-titted demoness/succubus was pretty much established by the time that TAS was made.

I do love her Dr Girlfriend-style voice in TAS. A cheap laugh, but it always gets me.

'OH GOOD, YOU'RE BACK'
