Sonichu Sonic the Hedgehog live action trailer - How long until Chris posts about this?

Time to live up to my title, I guess.

It's also important to remember that people are going to dislike this simply because it's Sonic and it's popular to hate on him. Some people like Sonic, some people like Jimbotnik-- whatever your opinion is, take the time to look at the movie in an objective light, and not because you just want to be apart of the bandwagon. I knew it wasn't gonna look amazing, so I went in with an open mind. You can even tell where they put in effort on the whole thing.

After rewatching the trailer like 4 more times, its kind of grown on me.
I'm gonna enjoy the movie for what it is and not what it represents. It's gonna be a fun romp through a what if scenario and we'll get to see something different. It's not what we wanted, or what others wanted, and it could have been better, but it could be much worse, and im gonna go see it and a good time, I think. Sonic managed to look cute and fine in some new promotional material, (obviously the scene where he gets tranq'd looks godawful) and I'll be interested to see how they make this origin in comparison to the others.

Also, there's already porn of Movie Sonic, so that article about furries not wanting him is patently false, but then again, who can even trust furries at this point?

Better idea. Get a bunch of people to dress as chris and attend every sitting of the movie in Chris's nearest theatre, and loudly scream about blue arms whenever Sanic appears on screen. Thus when chris eventually turns up to watch the movie he will be banned from watching it, thus driving him to attack the staff in a fit of rage

Go do what you enjoy, and enjoy what you enjoy. Just don’t let the negativity you might receive for it impact you, otherwise you’ll end up like our lovely Chris Chandler here.

This just screams abomination, sonic never casts a shadow, he is angeled wrong in places, he just has no expressions at all.
And those teeth, god damn it's far worse then I imagined.
 
I honestly think having Jim Carrey as Robotnik was the best decision they could have made short of not making the movie at all. Any actor who would have taken the role would have to have fuck you money, its the same reason Will Smith took the role of the Genie. Difference is Carrey actually has the comedic chops even if he's just doing Ace Ventura as an egotistical prick.

No joke, I had no idea about CWC ever using that song until I read about it here, and that's the only connection that makes sense.

Gangsta's Paradise can't be a cheap license. It doesn't fit the trailer at all, and feels like a shitpost parody.

This may have been asked before, but why did they wait until Current Year to make a Sonic movie?

They made a Mario movie back in the 80s, even if it wasn't that great...

Gangsta's Paradise is actually being used because it's a big song from the 90's, the movie is a bunch of THINGS 90's KIDS KNOW REFERENCES.

You're going to get beanie baby jokes, jabs at Pokemon, AOL CDs, Ninja Turtles, Hanson.

My guess is that it’s Sega trying to remain relevant and ride the wave of Live Action Movies coming out. I mean Nintendo has Detective Pikachu so Sega I guess feels the need to answer that with its own movie.
