To be fair, Iizuka fought to get Frontiers a delay in the first place. I agree it'd be preferable if games were Nintendo-level polished before release, but never forget that the higher ups want that money NOW and not LATER.

Other than the edginess and guns, this is certainly the best feature of that game. I wish other Sonic games did this, having story paths and hidden stages that made every playthrough unique. Really, Sega is fucking stupid for leaving out something with this much potential on the table, but again this wouldn't be the first time.

That means they'd have to make more than 3 levels that they remix 40+ times.

Meh, it's just not the same without the guns. They were a central part of the game, without them you're just playing as edgy Sonic.
Besides, they won't dare to make it edgy, so what's the point.

Probably won't do anything, especially for overseas audiences. Can't say I'm not disappointed with the donut lord, but I can separate the actor from the character for at least a couple hours.

Do try to remember one of Marsden's more well-known roles was in 2 of 3 movies directed by Bryan Singer, who is considered an all-around asshole, accused of being a gay rapist, and is currently hiding in Israel.

Also if he does have anything to hide, it couldn't be much worse than what the Sonic fandom does on a regular basis, so he might not be as out of place as people think he might be.
