If you don't know, Total Drama is a parody of reality shows, particularly the competition-based ones like Survivor. Sky is a contestant on the show.

A lot of the hate Sky gets is because she lead a guy-character on, when she was already dating someone else. So, the typical mean-spirited complaint.

But, see, what reason is that to hate on her? Total Drama is a parody of reality shows, so it follows that all of its characters are going to be traitorous dick-cheese. Chris repeatedly states that their underhandedness is what gets the show it ratings.
