Yeah, this show is first and foremost a kid's show. it was basically the same thing as the first movie was to me. I thought it sucked, I liked Robotnik and Sonic himself but there was too much goofy kids shenanigans involving a dumb fuck human character. however, I didn't hate the movie because I took my nephew (best bud since elementary school's kid) who was 4 and all the shit I hated he ate up and thought was fucking hilarious. we got home from the movie and he was scouring my shelves for sonic games and made me drag out the VCR to watch the OVA because he had seen it on the shelf in my office, etc. that little fucker left with a huge stack of sonic games for every system I knew his dad still had. but he really thought the interactions with cyclops' character was hilarious. the second movie I liked more than the first bc they leaned harder into the weird sonic shit, and I thought the human stuff was funnier. the wedding was retarded but I'd be lying if I said I didn't think all of that was humorous and definitely funnier than the whole first movie. this show when it is funny is probably the funniest of the bunch but really I can't fault it too much for that stupid shit because I'm an adult man it isn't for me at all, I'm sure within the week I'll get a call from lil guy (now 8 years old) who will be proclaiming this the funniest shit he has ever seen and be all into it. this was just some filler shit to keep brand awareness in the kids watching it, and provide a hopefully not too annoying background distraction to the adults that didn't hate the movies between them.

The show definitely leans into the comedy side of things harder than either of the movies, it's a lot more cartoony. Most of it works, some of it is a bit tiring.
With a head that large, how does he get that strap over his shoulder? When he takes the gloves off are his fist hairy like an old Italian man? Do his eyes move independently? How is his peripheral vision? It seems like it would be poor.
The little head tumors at the back aren't actually tumors, it's supposed to be hair/quills. SO basically he gets it over his head like anyone else but with a little more effort because he's a small goblin with a large head.
