I had a feeling they were going to fuck it up, but having one episode that doesn't even have the titular character in it is new levels of fucking retarded.
For fuck sakes, why is it so hard for these assholes to write a story about an anthromorphic character that DOESN'T involve stupid gags and pointless side characters? The audience will watch it without those, and even more-so if it's faithful to the game that it's based off of.

That's pretty much it. I'm gonna give it a shot tomorrow, but the main event this year is Sonic 3. This is just an interesting way of passing the time.

I think the biggest problem is the false advertising displayed here. The trailers would make you believe this is mostly a show with knuckles at the forefront. But, the actual main character is Wade. Now, I'm still gonna give the show a chance as i don't hate Wade myself but maybe they should've called this series Wade & Knuckles instead. To better Illustrate that this Just isn't Knuckles story but Wades Too.

Just going by Twitter, opinions seem to be split right down the middle for Knuckles. Some like it, some hate it. It sounds like it would've been better as a special rather than a limited series. Personally? I can't say either way, because Paramount thought it would be a good idea to make UK viewers wait an extra day before dropping the episodes.

Not sure how accurate the wikis are, but Knuckles seems to lack the writers who worked on the first two movies (in addition to Sonic 3). There's also the thing of Sonic 3 having actual source material to work from instead of creating something original, so that'll definitely help.

it's not twitter brain rot, the kike-ing is intensely obnoxious. I say this as a kike myself. This is a small slice of the episode.
I don't know about that paramount blue screen, but that didn't show in the episode.
And the jewish mom and sister character are the worst characters I've seen in any show. Especially the sister... she makes you wish you never had eyes and ears. They try to make sibling abuse into LOLZ SO FUNNY cuz it's a woman doing it! So it's ok!
Just... watch it if you don't believe me. It's awful.

They're created as a selling point for the streaming service. Quality is irrelevant at that point.

I'm shocked so many people hate the knuckles show. Not because it's actually good. It's not but I have no idea what they were expecting? I just watched it and its to a T exactly what I thought it would be. overall I enjoyed it while it was on, some of it made me laugh, a lot of it made me cringe. Ill never watch it again unless I'm watching a kid who wants to watch it, and ill probably go in the other room to make dinner or something to avoid most of the middle episodes.

Of course that's what the trailers show that's how marketing works. not that it's right studios market with bait and switch tactics but every thing in at least the last 15 years is marketed that way. just for budgeting reasons it couldn't have been knuckles focused entirely and the first thing released about the show was that it focuses on knuckles training wade (or maybe it didn't mention it was him, but knuckles training a human at least) anyone with half a brain should have absolutely known it was going to focus on the human and basically be the parts of the sonic movies that sucked as a tv show.

It's more the ratio of Knuckles to Wade that most people take issue with. I think if you chopped it down you would have a much better show, maybe do an hour special instead. That would you could maximize the time it actually features the title character.
