Since the first Sonic movie's release, #elsagate related content has resurfaced in the form of shitty Sonic vids on youtube. A couple of people have already made a rant video on this which I added below.

Not all of it is awful shit, it's not nearly as degenerate as #elsagate, but still it's close. There are some family friendly channels I found with content aimed at kids that while bizarre would atleast not be as deviant and gorey as #elsagate.

These types of channels usually don't target only Sonic, they also target Mario and other popular games among children like Baldi's basics, FNAF, Poppy playtime, Hello Neighbor, etc.

I think it's not too surprising. I think they just try to combine elements to get the most eyes possible.

Kids watch YouTube the most, so they're the target demographic. Maybe they think fucked up fetish and gore shit will draw kids to watching it because kids like the rebellious feeling they get from watching things they aren't supposed to like violence and sex, and Sonic has a movie out so he's relevant.
