Sonic Boom Gameplay (SPOILER: lol it's shit)

I beat this yesterday and this really is worse then Sonic 06. Even for 17 dollars, it's still a rip off. I'm not going to repeat the same thing, but I will say this. My biggest problem with this game is a complete lack of soul into it. I felt nothing while playing this. There was never one moment where I had fun. I couldn't give a fuck about the open world, the characters, and the gameplay. The game gives you no reason to care at all. At the same time, the game also insults the player's intelligence by repeating the same goddamn things with the dialogue and the repetitive gameplay. Even with the patches, it's still a mess visually with frame rate issues throughout. I know people called it Sonic 14, but I'm now calling this Nothingness: The Game.

The whole game feels like the devs wanted to make another Jak & Daxter or something, but since they were on SEGA's dime, they slapped Sonic on the box instead and proceeded to put in the absolute minimum needed to make a game. I remember being hopeful because the devs were ex-Naughty Dog, but now I realize they were ex-Naughty Dog for a reason, probably.
 
If you can't even manage to make the music good or catchy, something even Sonic '06 managed(buttrock is still enjoyable), you've done a really really bad job.
 
Sorry to necro a long dead thread, but a video got posted recently about just how bad the production of this game was handled and why it turned out the way it did.
