When aatrek got doxed, SA seemed more pissed that Something Sensitive had something over them than anything else. For additional context, SA at the time was high on their own farts for supposedly busting Reddit for having jailbait subreddits and they got a Reddit mod, violentacrez, kicked out. Yet here they were, an actual registered sex offender busted for molesting a minor as a moderator, and their first instinct was to shoot the messenger. Shows how honest they were about stopping pedophiles vs. just wanting to own some Reddit neckbeards.

Deadpool was a good mod, and TV/IV was a useful and good forum when he was around. I used to rely on the stickied threads there to know which shows were airing new episodes on a given night.

Downsizing is a bitch. I worked at one when I was in high school and I remember when low sales for 5 quarters in a row forced management to make some hard decisions. They ended up closing down one register and removing 2 trash cans. That's when the boss took into the break room and told me that since I was being let go because I was the one there with the least time, but that I was a good kid with a good head on my shoulder and he'd be happy to write a letter of recommendation to the Shell across the street. I mean, I've been in bad towns/bad parts of towns, where every store, gas station, and fast food restaurant has warnings posted everywhere that if you pay using a check or any denomination of currency greater than $20, they get to keep a photocopy of your driver's license because fuck your counterfeiting ass. If the gas station had actually cared about/had a problem with bad checks at all, there'd be a similar policy in place. But if an employee's being shitty and needs to be gone, then he's gone.
