My Pet theory is that FAU is just putting in face time. lowtax threatened to de admin the next fucker who touches that thread. So FAU is making it clear he is down to clown the shmorky.

As for selling me....sorry my gf already owns me....and she's one of those staby staby types
 
I'd say the only way to really "fix" SA at this point would be de-mod and de-admin everyone save Lowtax, Lady-Tax and Not-Radium and delete all the forums and create just 4 forums to replace them. One for jokes, one for news stories/discussion, one for video games and one for selling/buying shit. Put 3-5 mods in each, but not forums superstars, FYAD regulars and QCS posters. Just people using mod-specific accounts so their names/existence as a mod is kept under-wraps so they can still post jokes and views on their actual accounts without it becoming people thinking its the official thoughts of the forums staff.

Make mods only capable of 1 hour probations without admin approval. Threads can only be closed by the OPs and Admins, mods can just recommend them for closure unless it's kind of an emergency thing like "Someone just posted a suicide note" or some shit.
 
I'm unfamiliar with SA and I just got done watching Lowtax's new Shmorky stream. I gotta ask: How do you approve of dudes like FAU or Troposphere in the first place? You can't tell that they're unfunny and ready to get rid of any wrongthink they find within seconds? You seem like a reasonable dude who knows all of this shit is stupid. Look at the serious debates they're trying to avoid, how uppity they are. When they work for free on a fucking comedy forum. That is possibly the lowest amount of power you could fucking trip over.

At this point it's whoever is in with the current mods/admins and is willing to work for free. That's it. Lowtax hasn't had a say in who's picked for years and doesn't care as long as they work for free.

It's even more than that. These idiots aren't even GBS posters but they want the rules for the entire site to revolve around the most easily offended S.A. member.

They're not content to use existing hug boxes where they are already protected from being offended. They insist that they have a right to never be offended anywhere.

These people are just fine with calling anyone to the right of Mao Nazis, though, because apparently that's not a slur.
