Okay, that is a valid point, I did not ask the other mods if they had ever met him and, if so, did they know his name. Hell, I wasn't even the admin who made him a mod in the first place, I had no idea he existed until we got a message from him saying something along the lines of "uhhhhh guys, I gotta resign now, I've got some bad stuff happening in my personal life right now."

So yeah, somebody could've known his name for sure, but I didn't, and even if I did I honestly wouldn't have done a background search on him because I've never done that to any mod before.

edit: I'd like to think that, with all the "edgy" shit SA has put out over the years, that they have already found a host who doesn't give a damn. They were on the same server as the J-List people for ages, for instance. I was an admin on a reasonably popular forum back in the day. We did have very, very occasional issues as our host was in Germany and their laws are ultra-bullshit in regards to that stuff.
